It takes time, look at my early work and compare it to my newer stuff, just take the time to learn.

i know, i know. stoopid learning curve...

The main problem i find is that most of the really good ideas have been done! The cat in the rain that scottie is riding now is brilliant: i wish i had that idea. I'm learning new things every day, like i just learnt how to make half decent backgrounds! I've also been experimenting with brushes, and i made one or two, but the main thing i can't get down is blending. i relly too much on gradients to cover evrything over, and my borders suck too. Also, i don't have much motivation or inspiration, which is why im looking to more experienced sig makers (such as yourself and Scottie) to learn new things and pick up tips.
