Whats the difference between War Hulk and WWH?

War Hulk was the version of Hulk enhanced by Apocalypse using Celestial technology. He was the only character in Marvel's history to actually fully stop classic Juggernaut. He showed energy manipulation powers, the "green light" shown in WWH, only it was a bio-aura like field that surrounded him.

Right...so this version is even more powerful than WWH?

That's debatable. Personally I think War Hulk would be on par or above WWH up until the point post-Sentry where he went Super Saiyajin and was busting up the planet just by taking a single step.

Well I disagree. I think that no matter what character would fight WW Hulk that it would turn into a brawl. Not Reed Richards, but someone as physically powerful as Superman would trade blows. I think Supes would trade punches with him and Supes isnt more physical than WW Hulk. Nor does he have hat awesome healing ability that the Hulk possesses.

Yep but Superman has flight, superspeed, and has been shown to fight at superspeed. He is not going to just brawl with Hulk and trade him blow for blow for the entire fight. Hulk will eventually fall.

Yeah but even Jonn could keep up and give DOS superman problems back in those days, DOS version rarely exhibithed the levels of speed he does now in the comics on a regular basis. DOS Supes is going down in this fight but if it was supes as he is now then Hulk would take a fall yes.

Agreed, people in this thread are failing to remember that this was Superman during one of his weakest phases and how he fought during DOS. War Hulk versus current Supes would lose. Superman got a huge power up post DOS saga.

Yeah I heard something like that....not at pre-crisis levels though.....

Thats how the fight would really be, I believe that fully.

Maybe some heat vision here and there but basically trading blows.

Just for this thread, I went back and read through DOS again. I don't see Supes really doing much to Doomsday besides just trying to fight him hand to hand for the majority of the time. His heat vision barely did anything (and it wouldn't do much to Hulk either, as he's pretty much immune to fire), neither did his ice breath. We mostly saw them just brawling.

I re-read through H/P saga again too, and Superman himself mentions to Henshaw how much stronger he is now and shows Henshaw a hugely upgraded heatvision, and I know Supes has gotten even stronger since then.

Keep in mind this is back in 1994, Superman wasn't fighting as crazy back then like he does now. For example during the Imperiex saga, he was using cold breath and heat vision at the same time against the Imperiex drones at the same time while speed blitzing. We don't see that really in DOS. It just shows them trading blows, rocking the landscape, and causing even less damage in collateral than Sentry / Hulk in WWH # 5.
