I don't know........but we don't even know if they're going to hold it at a trilogy....Johnny said himself, he's willing to do as many more Pirates movies that they want him to do, as long as there is a good script...they should know by close to the end of the filming for the third one....filming for the third movie is set to resume next month (mid- August)......that's what I read anyway......

When i say trilogy, I mean this chapter. The whole davy Jones thing will come to an end before the 4th Movie. If there is a 4th movie that is.
The first 3 star wars films were a trilogy and the new ones are a trilogy too, but they are viewed a seperate trilogy where the 3 rules start again. The whole thing is a Saga though. Although all 6 films are linked together with a common theme but both trilogies in the series are very different to eachother and they each contain the 3 rule thing.
PotC might do this if it releases a 4th maybe. start off a new trilogy with that one.

No, there was no mention of davy jones in the 1st movie.....but what does that have to do with my last post?

Thats not the point. New enemies emerge all the time in trilogies.....and if im not mistaken Barbosa came back.
Not all trilogies have to have the same enemy in each for it to work. The enemies often change in trilogies.
Pirates was origionally meant to be one movie..but Disney decided to make it into a trilogy and build on it. If it was a new trilogy and the first wasnt part of it then Liz and Will would be married by the time of the second. but no the lack of wedding carried on in to the second.
And actually.. Yeh Davy Jones is mentioned in the first movie.
Katelovesapirate, I don't think the madness has to stop either lol. the point is, that after the 3rd movie, Johnny is up for doing POTC 4, 5, and 6, after they are done with the 3rd one. Just as long as there's a good script...because Johnny wants to see all the Pirates movies be as successful as 1 and 2, and with the writers Disney has for POTC, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't have a good script for a 4th, 5th, and 6th POTC movies. and based on this article, i'm starting to think more and more that there will be a 4th, 5th, and maybe 6th POTC movies. Again, as long as they have a good script, it will keep making money...So, nobody, not even Johnny, sees why there won't be more POTC movies after the 3rd.

The second and third move scripts were written and shot together am I right? thats why its coming out next year instead of 2 years time. This signals an end in one trilogy and a start of a new. 4,5,6 like you said. Those 3 will probably be shot together if they do that.
Only want thing that bothers me.Only Johnny said that he woud countine forever but not Orlando or Keira(Not counting the third movie)Well there is 1 thing that i hate in some movies.Lets take potc one for exaple There was Johnny,Orlando and Keira in the big roles but it woud suck if they woud change the actors for example Keira.I think that woud suck if they woud change Keira for someone diferent.A diferent thing is in Star Wars Epizode 4 With Ben Kenobi so he died and wast in the 5 and 6 epizode.Well in the New triolege they didnt change the actors(Thats 1 of the good things in star wars)
