Kaya, some people warrant it by their attitude and behaviour. Your support of InnerRise is inspiring and all but you're a distinct minority. He pissed a lot of people off and if their way of letting off steam is to state their opinions publicly now, while he's away, then so be it. Don't ostracise yourself by defending someone who probably won't notice when he gets back and isn't likely to thank you for it if he does notice. His behaviour doesn't justify shitty behaviour in retaliation, no. I agree with you there. But for those people who are agreeing that his ban was a good thing and explaining why they feel this way as politely as possible, they're behaving correctly. I don't think it's right to kick up a fuss and call InnerRise names, that's lowering yourself to his level and that is hypocritical. But simply agreeing with his ban isn't hypocritical.

i understand many people don't like him i really do and if i didn't i read the thread and i do now at least... there have been people i really didn't like but i would never do such a thing... i would either just want to kill that person in my thoughts ans say nothing or i would talk (and possibly yell) to that person i wouldn't post it in a thread...
and even if i'm the distinct minority i would stand up for anyone i call a friend here... its just how i am... how ive always been and how i will always be... ah i dunno...

I can't keep such thoughts to myself, although I do try at times. I suppose it's better to be able to hold yourself back from flipping out on someone, it's always better.
Are you and InnerRise good friends? I would suggest that you try to be objective and not defend him blindly, although it's difficult if you're close to someone. You do realise how badly he's behaved, don't you? No one's bullying him and he's not a victim, he's been highly abusive towards people for no reason and he fully deserves the ban. Simple as that.
I do appreciate that you care about him and you don't like the way some people have acted though, it's cool.
