Smiter created a thread that's sole purpose was to bash people.

How is that not bashing?

There's a good reason why threads like the ones he made are not allowed, because they're nothing but flamebait.

Smiter deserved to be banned in every sense of the word.

He set out to ruin Vinny's thread in the philosophy form. He then made a mock copy of the thread. When that failed he made a thread to make a joke out of it.

He then posted let's just say "questionable" images.

He then made a list directly bashing members.

The guy got what he deserved.

I checked that thread and Smiter did nothing wrong in that thread.

Marius, once more, like our PM discussions, I'm not saying that mods don't make mistakes, what I'm saying is that ALL of us are supposed to know the rules, and if they determine the rules have been broken, they ban. I'm seriously not going to worry about the repercussions of 'banning without just cause' on a message board. srug

Well thats your opinion but a great number of members and mods seems to feel he deserved it.

Bardock, no offense ment. But what exactly do you feel a person has to do to deserve banning?

Vinny insulted him first, Vinny also has insulted me on occasion without reason. Vinny is not the "nice old guy" everyone thinks he is...he will occasionally insult people for no reason, and then go back to being "friendly" again.

I never reported his videos and that wasn't what I was talking about. And more then one member felt he was bashing them. Just because you like someone personaly doesn't mean they should be exempt from banning.

Maybe. No matter I provide reasons why I don't, if they disagree that is fine with me.

Attack someone constantly without a cause. Like saying someone is a crybaby is not an attack, it's an opinion. Calling them an ******* constantly is. Also saying someone is stupid is not an attack.

I think its kinda ironic that a few of you might get banned in The Official KMC Member Banned Thread.hmm

I never had an argument with anyone in the first place, all I said was that it's not a big deal he got banned.

I have to question though, why people are acting like this is some civil rights issue, when, in reality, it's a discussion about someone being told that they can't type messages to other people on their computer for a few days.

Well openly insulting someone to me would fit the definiton of "bashing".

If Smiter PM'd me and called me that I'm nto sure he would've been banned, it's more the fact I think that he did it openly and knew it was going to start a fight.

I say it's a big deal, if it's not a big deal why contribute about it in the first place?

Because it is the same thing basically. I would like to convince some people to take it easier on KMC...also to be fair. I would enjoy that, think that KMC would be a better place then. And others want the people they don't like to be banned while their friends shouldn't be...which I find hypocritical.
