Why wouldn't they get unbanned? The threats were done off of KMC. I don't see how it would matter to KMC or be used as a way to keep them banned. I'm not defending anyone, but this whole thing with those 2 was just dumb. One for threatening the other for some misunderstanding and the other for taking it too serious. Involving the cops was just too much. I bet you they laughed when they got the complaint " Hey someone on the Internet wants to kill/harm me. Help"

You do realize there is a law put in place for internet harassment, right? It's treated just like any other harassment complaint and taken very seriously. Cyber stalking is real and people get killed occasionally by someone they met on the internet.
It matters to KMC because they are both members here and will likely clash again, probably on the forums. Besides, look at the facts...Starhawk banned, Eclipso joins within an hour, Starhawk never posts while Eclipso is here, Eclipso is banned, Starhawk magically returns, Eclipso is unbanned, Starhawk takes leave again.

In that vein internet predators can be laughed off...
Police - "Haha, some 48 year old trucker from Kansas wants to meet up with a 13 year old girl and have sex. YEAH right."

If you were in Vinny's shoes and actually felt threatened you would have done the same thing. I myself have had people stalk me on the internet, got my home address and my home phone number by snooping around and playing in peoples computers. I almost went to the police, but the situation resolved itself and that was that. Had he done anything with my information I would have been at the station filling out a police report.

I've never have been in situation like that. So maybe that's why I wouldn't take it so far. But You've have been stalked like that, then I can why you would all the cops.

I can attest to the fact that, even if you aren't in any real danger from the person, cyber stalking is still not a pleasant experience at all. Especially if the person doing so really means it, as opposed to just bugging you on KMC.
The point is, though, don't put your home address or personal info where anybody can see it. That's just asking for trouble.

Well, I'm glad to see everyone is getting their feelings out about this, in fact I encourage venting.All I will say is that allot of it was blown way out of proportion, all was not as reported. And it was an off-KMC issue.
