Dr. Light steals all of the light outa Apollo's body while he is a thousand feet in the air, and laughs as Apollo is plumeting to his death.

Light and solar energy are 2 different things. Apollo doesn't store pure light, but could definitely absorb Light's energy attacks. Any way you cut it, he wins this.
