Alan scott's original one barely rhymed but had a sense of...badassery about it.

Going off topic here, but I liked Etrigan/Timothy Blood's chants a lot more than the GL version.

Man DC characters always get the cool chants.

But, the original GL chant has practically been forced fed into my mind. The original became my favorite eventually. My son learned it after watching a JLU episode. He kept saying it over and over.

"No evil shall escape my sight"
"Let those who worship evils might"

I like Alan's too...simple yet badass...better than the generally accepted current GL oath.
