Rebirth. I don't know the scriptures, it's been years sense I have read them. Check it out, and if I'm wrong, let me know.
I understand what you mean. You may have gotten that from this scripture....?
John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." If you read on it talks about Nicodemus discussing with Jesus about the Kindgom of God.
But... in Hebrews 9:27 it also says "And it is appointed for men to die once, but after this judgment."

Thank you. 😄
I only read the words of Jesus from the bible, I don't believe in the rest.

"Born again" and "REINCARNATION" are night and day in terms of their meanings and connotations. Reincarnation as I understand it implies coming back as SOMEONE or SOMETHING else (this includes animals). But born again does not mean or connote coming back to life as another person or animal. Born again simply means that a person who is spiritually dead (i.e., separated from the life and glory of God) is NOW alive to God (in fellowship or "right" relationship towards God). Their spirit is no longer separated from God or eternally damned. They have passed from eternal death into eternal life. They have been translated from satan's kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Spiritually speaking he/she is a new creation. They still have the same physical body. They do not become a frog, bird, or new identity.
John 5:24
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life .
Colossians 1:13
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Although the word reincarnation doesn' t appear as such in the Bible, the meaning is there. There are several verses that support rebirth.
No, Storm, the meaning is NOT there. There are several verses that support rebirth but NOT in the vein or with the sense that reincarnation connotes. Read my post above to get the whole of what I am trying to convey. 🙂
Reincarnation connotates another life in a different form in this world. The biblical rebirth is a spiritual rebirth in this world and a physical one in heaven (not in this world). You call reincarnation, but it is different from the standard meaning of the word. However, that said, I don't think you are arguing that the Bible teaches the Hindu style of reincarnation, but are having fun with JIA. So JIA stop responding to it because they are just trying to bug you.

No, that is what the Bible STATES. 🙂
Open up the Bible to Acts 4:12. It states,
Acts 4:12
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
I interpreted nothing. Thus the Bible STATED something. Can you tell me what? 🙂
