What are you talking about? Force powers such as Mind trick, (from KOTOR series) Fear, Insanity, Horror, etc. are basically the only mental Force powers where a strong willpower can save you.

Force drain? You're draining the life out of someone, their Force out of them. That's physically effecting the victim. It's not just some trick used to scramble their mind or mess with their head.

Do you know what "mental" means? How does Force drain relate to the mind? It drains life out of the victim's body. I've provided attacks that are mind affecting Force powers, notice the difference between them and Force drain?

Yeah, a drain doesn't affet someone's mind unless it's a sanity drain.
