- "I need you rookies to go to the warehouse level to secure Doctor Hemmingway. He's awol and has some key files for the investigation of the scientists here at the station. We need to get him and the files back. You there soldier!" - Rory said to Alex - "Get these rookies down to the warehouse and make sure they don't do something stupid".

"Ma'am." He acknowledged, and looked over to the fresh meat. "All of you, follow me. This place is tricky, and if you so much as try to touch something your not authorized to, I'll put a bullet in your hand." He usually didn't take command like that, but this place creeped him out. He nodded to Rory, added a salute, and walked off down the walkway, not waiting for the rookies to follow. Sooner this gets done, the better.

"Um, nowhere."

he began looking around suspicously then smiled.

"just kidding, I had family descents that worked for this company while it was still known as umbrella, I know a little about the T-virus, just the superman part, just only heard of the plague."

He wasn't really doing so good right now conceiling everything he knows, apparently that truth serum his girlfriend put on him was still in effect.

Rae grunted and stood up, brushing past the man that had been talking to her. Securing an area was one thing, but a single person was a simple task.
She followed the other soldier as she was told to do. As she strolled down the hallway she reached for her side and pulled out a stick of pink gum, unwrapped it and popped it into her mouth as if she had done this a thousand times. The soldier's threats didn't seem to stir the slightest bit of emotion inside the girl. It would almost seem as if she wasn't listening to anyone at all.

He saw the girl walk by, almost as if she had an attitude and also saw her pop out a piece of gum, he quickly followed up behind her.

"Hey, do you have anymore gum? cause um, y'know I'm kinda nervous here gum makes everything better, well to me that is."

Without answering the girl pulled out another peace and tossed it to the other soldier.
She blew a bubble with her own gum and then quickly sucked it back into her mouth, causing it to make a loud snap. The noise would have gotten her yelled at in a more organized situation, but seeing as the chain of command here was shifty, she took advantage of it.

Travis smiled at what Rae had said, but he knew the size of some enemies and that if as a last resort small knives do dick. His had a blade over a foot long, and was sharp enough to slice UNSIA standard armor in two. Travis stood as the ship docked and followed Rory off of the transport. 'I'll be damned. Gen. Carlyle is here, I haven't seen him since the moon base incident two years ago.' Travis thought to himself as he listened to the Gen.'s speech. Travis took his PDA and saw that he had already recieved an email from someone.

'Sgt. Burton, attached to this message is a map showing you to your quarters. In there you will find a package that was hand-crafted specifically for you. I know as well as you what could await your return to Mars City and that is why you need to be prepared in everyway possible. Good luck Sergeant, and Godspeed.'

Travis had no idea who had sent the message, and he didn't care. He followed the directions and arrived at his quarters. On a large desk was a Black briefcase. Travis sat his bags and rifle down and opened it. "Son of a *****! I hope I don't have to use this damn thing." He told himself as he closed it and slid it out of sight under the desk. 'I better get frosty.' Travis said as he opened his duffelbag and began to prepare for work. He put on a bullet-broof vest and then put on an olive green tactical vest over it. The vest held Three 30-round 9mm mags for an HK MP5k and had a cross draw holster for his backup Beretta M92. He turened on his comm unit and fastened it to the front left of the vest. Travis picked up his HK 2000 Assault Rifle and pulled the bolt back. 'Let's rock.' He thought to himself as he left his room and headed for the area they had arrived at. He saw a man barking orders at the soldiers he came with and decided to tag along.

"Thanks"

He moved up to walking alongside her

"so, uh, you're not the talking kind are you? may I ask why that is? I mean sorry if its something personal."

Rae finally looked at the other soldier. "It's nothing personal. But talk is cheap. I just dont have much to say."
She then turned her attention towards the guy at the front of the group. The one that was supposedly "leading them. She started to wonder if he really had any idea what they were doing.

"...... so nothing really that you would like to talk about?"

he blew a bubble continuing walking alongside her, the bubble popped and he continued chewing.

"like uh? how you ended up here? or your family or something?"

Jake read the email he reacieved and nodded to himself mentally. He walked out of his room and towards the scientific reaserch department. He walked in and looked at the other scientists who were so caught up in their work that they barely noticed his arrival. He shrugged and walked to the test samples. They were all in small vials, or tubes, that had names on them. "Hmm...." He thought to himself. "Ok... T-Virus.... where are you...... aha!" he thought to himself as he quietly grabbed five small viles of different tests concerning the T-Virus. As they were labeled, this was too easy. Now he had to get the anti-virus. He walked into the test room which was partially deserted besides a few scientists who were sort of sleeping. He shook his head and walked to the next rack of vials. He snatched the anti-virus and looked around. "The plegue..... the hell is that?" he thought as he looked around. He shrugged and saw an empty room. He entered the room and looked at the cube sitting on a small table in it. He smiled mentally knowing his job was now three quarters complete. He picked the whole thing up with out detection, but he himself was getting a bit paranoid. He knew there had to be camera's but he didnt know where. He shuddered slightly and leaned against the wall. He pulled out the PDA and sent another email to Rory.

Email Reading

Ok, i have everything except one. and i cant seem to find it... The plegue as you call it, there is nothing in the section of any sort. How about a bit more briefing on A.) What it is, and B.) where it is?

''Well all that's in the past. I couldn't care less about any of that. What's your story?" She replied, continuing to follow at a steady pace. She started to wonder when they'd get to where they were going. Things were taking long enough as it was.

Travis glanced down and checked his gear as he listened to Rae talking to Alex(?). Last time he was here there were no female soldiers, and he knew that this would cause problems. Travis had no problems with female soldiers, just with the male ones that tried to get in their pants. Travis thought of saying something, but decided against it. If Rory was half as competant as she acted then she would take care of it.

(no not alex, Almer sorry forgot to put the name)

"well my family has a long history of athleticism and aggresiveness, and thats why I was fired from last few jobs, too aggresive i worked on it in anger classes it helped me calm a little, but my girlfriend keeps pressuring me to these jobs for big money, but see I finally figured that out so as soon as I get back me and here are over."

(I can just picture what my guy looks like 😆 )

He continued walking and put his plasma rifle on a string and around his neck.

"so um... you have had any friends? like close friends?"

"I try not to make friends. I find it hard to keep them when your in a job like this." Rae answered, still staring ahead at the soldier they were following.
"I just wish this guy would hurry up and get us to where we need to be. "

" I wouldn't talk like that soldier..." Alex noted at the girl, picking up what she said.

Alex arrived at a rather large metal door, wich to the side held a small scanner. Alex placed his hand in the small thing, and a blue light spread across its length. The door let out a compressed sigh and slid open, revealing a staircase, and an elevator. He stood to the side, waiting on all of the rookies to go in.
"This elevator will take us to the very low levels of the station, and eventually into the abandoned warehouse level." Obviously, Alex wasn't gonna make friends this time... He hated that, but thought not to get connected to someone during a mission. He nodded for them to enter.

He stopped at the elevator door to allow Rae to enter through ahead of him.

"Just something my parents constantly reminded me of, manners. so whats wrong with making friends here? its always good to make friends anywhere example, my probation officer holding me at gun point, my friend snuck him and beat the mess out of him, or another example, bad girlfriend or boyfriend your best friend is always there to help you out."

What, this guy read minds now?

Alex nodded slowly, and then looked at the elevator doors. "No one really speaks much on my missions, so I dont really talk much. Th' names Alex." He smiled and held out a hand to shake.

"Soldier, you need to shut the hell up and get frosty. We have a job to do!" Travis said angrily. The mindless banter was beginning to piss him off. "You can spend all of your time getting to know each other after the mission. Now you need to focus on the task at hand." Travis said as he followed the group. "After you." Travis said as he motioned for Alex to walk ahead.

EDIT:

Alex looked at the man who had spoken to him, and then back at the elevator. He sighed and stepped foward, entering the machine. "Th' names Alex." He said to all of them, and rested against the back wall.
