Rae stood at half attention. Although she was paying sharp attention, she seemed a little too relaxed considering what she had just seen. She watched curiously as Alex was injected with the intivirus. She felt a pinge of relief as this happened. To think that anyone of them could easily be turned to one of those creatures made her stomach knot.

"That was some wild s*** in there man, I didn't think I was gonna make it you saw that? those things tried to lick me to death!"

He started calm down and put a new fresh clip into his rifle, sighing he walked back over near Rae.

"Damn girl how you stay calm from something like that?"

(just picturing my character is funny 😆 )

Rory looked at Alex.

- "What about soldier?" - Rory asked.

Jake just looked around the room.

"In private."

Alex grunted, and stood up straight, testing out his foot and legs. He still had minor pain, but it was getting better. He stood and waited on Rory to answer.

"What about the infirmary, we need to get our wounds taken care of." Travis told Gen. Carlyle as Rory gave Alex as shot of something. Travis's bullet wound was not bleeding as bad as it had been, but it hadn't stopped completly. 'These idiots never learn, why would they tempt all of Hell's fury yet again.' Travis thought as he remembered the package in his room. "Gen. after I get patched up I need to pay a visit to my quarters and pick up a few items." Travis said. "That's fine Sgt., but we lost contact with the infirmary. We have no way of knowing their status. You'll just have to do with what medical care we can give you here for now." Gen. Carlyle said to Travis.

"We need to talk." Travis heard Alex say to Rory. Rory looked at Alex. "What about soldier?" Rory asked. "In private." Alex grunted, and stood up straight, testing out his foot and legs. He still had minor pain, but it was getting better. He stood and waited on Rory to answer.
Travis didn't give her a chance to. "Soldier, the last thing we need here is to have secrets. Now whatever it is you need to talk about I suggest you do it here. We need all availible information if we are going to make it out of here alive." Travis said as his right hand clutched his left shoulder.

"Fine."

Alex let off a glare at Travis and turned back to Rory.

"I was part of the 'clean-up' crew for the Hive. You know, the thing you shits built with ultimate technology or whatever? Yeah, well it didn't last obviously. Me and some of my good friends were all recruited for what we thought was a recon mission, and turned out to be Hell. There were millions of zombies down there, as if they somehow reproduce, and you knowingly sent us to our deaths do there wouldn't be any evidence, and we would keep them at bay long enough for you to develope somethineg, eh? Hell, me and my friends took all ofthem out, even the Lickers. And in the end, I lost six very good friends. There were only two of us left, and I cant remember who else it was... But you see this?" He pointed to his scar, "This is what happened after your little mind erasing expirement when I was stuck in Racoon City alone! I want some answers."

He sneered after his speech, red faced and angry. He stared Rory right in the eye and asked:

"Well?"

- "First of all I don't give a damn about your friends. Second I wouldn't know anything about that since I was stuck in Racoon City myself at the time when you went into the Hive. I was rescued later by members of Umbrella and kept alive by means of the T-Virus experiments. And I can't remember anything prior to the Racoon incident. Which happens to have happened a long time ago, like 200 years or so. I spent most of my life in a suspended animation chamber developed by Cryonix. So don't come to me with your anger and your memories of fallen friends, that means sh*t right now. And if they brainwashed you or whatever, well that's just too damn bad, just don't cry to me. You want any answers at all ask your employers if you can keep your head cool and survive this place" - Rory said.

Jake walked to where Rory and Alex were standing and pushed Alex back.

- "And you might better want to remember your rank soldier, when you're speaking to your superior officer. Otherwise it's insubordination and I think you know well enough what the penalty for that is" - Jake said and made a gesture portraying a gun shooting at his head - "So if you value your life and want those answers you seek you will not talk to her like that again".

“All of you can this shit NOW! Rory’s right, you will all need to have your wits about you if you want to make it out of here alive.” Travis said after Gen. Carlyle patched up his shoulder. “The last thing we need is anyone getting hot-headed at someone, because then that causes problems.” Travis said as he turned to Rory. “You better hear this Clear as a ****ing Bell. I don’t give two shits right now about you being a superior officer. If you do anything that hinders me or these soldiers from getting off of this rock in one piece, I will personally blow you a new a$$hole. Right between the eyes.” Travis said before turning back to the General. “You know this base better than me, so how would be the best way out of here?”

Alex glared at Jake, and when he was pushed. He flipped. Not hearing anything Travis said, Alex shoved Jake back and then swung at him, landing a good one rkight on his face. As Jake was knocked back, Alex tackled him and started throwing multiple punches at him while he was on the ground.

Rory grinned at what Travis said, his empty threats did not matter to her. But she turned around to where Jake was and Alex punching him. Rory stood closer and gave Alex a kick directly in the face and with one of her guns she fired at Alex's shoulder but only with the intention of scrapping his skin which she did with perfect aim.

- "Unless you calm down right now, the next bullet is going for your dick" - Rory said - "As Travis said, we don't need this if we are to get out of here alive".

"**** you." Alex said, barely feeling as his skin was scratched. He stood up, and walked off to his quarters, hoping to find a weapon and some ammunition.

"****ing Kindergarten!" Travis said as he turned to General Carlyle. "I'm off to my room. I'll call you if I run into any trouble." Travis said. He unholstered his Matte Chrome Desert Eagle and walked out of the HQ. He knew that they needed to stick together, but he needed his package and a new weapon.

'Alex is going to be a major liability and so is Rory for that matter. Rae seems like a competant enough soldier, but Almer seems to inexperienced. If I have to count on them to get out of here then I'm screwed. At least I can trust Rae and Gen. Carlyle.' Travis thought as he walked into his room. As he picked up his briefcase a new thought occured to him. 'Then again, if I have to use this the way I think it was meant to be used; Then I ain't going anywhere.' Travis went to his locker and opened it up. In side was an extra Desert Eagle and Chrome 12-gauge shotgun with fore and aft pistol grips. He grabbed both and left his empty assault rifle on the floor along with his submachine gun. Loaded dowe with enough ammo for his four weapons (Beretta, 2 Desert Eagles, Shotgun.) Travis turned back toward the door as it caved inwards. Something big was on the other side, and it was trying to get in.

(Everybody, please do not make any posts referring to the creature attacking the door. I will confer with Rikku to decide what it will be. Thank you.)

Alex made it to his quarters, openeing up his case that was under his bed. Inside it contained a DE .50 and six clips for an M16. Alex stored all of the clips on his belt and picked up the hollow M16 from a shelf. Next to it it had two DE clips and another combat knife. After Alex loaded himself down, he lay back on his bed, thinking about what Rory had said.

"It can't have been 200 years... Im still the same age!!!"

What did they do to him? What actually happened? He sighed, and tryed to remember the one who was left alive with him...

(recap please? I was gone longer than i thought)

Rae shook her head in disappointment as she turned and made her leave. It was strange to do this without being dismissed, but it seemed the chain of command didn't have it's usual strict aura about it.
The soldier made her way down a long hall way, headed back to her room. Her hand hovered over her D. Eagle just incase anything happened to surprise her. This place seemed to have a lot of leaks in the security.

"Man what the was all that sh*t for? why are we killing each other when we got people outside that would love ot do it for us."

He turned back around and noticed everyone was just leaving him alone.

"Aight now thats some reall bull right there, we supposed to stick together and ya'll gonna leave me?"

Travis grabbed his comm and hit the transmit button. "To anyone listening, the corridors leading to the HQ are not safe. There is a Big Ugly Bastard out there. Watch your backs, over." He said as he aimed his shotgun at the door. With a thundering crunch of metal the door flew forward as if a bomb went off. A tremendous snarl ecohed from the darkness of the corridor as a pink, fleshy demon slowly emerged into the room. It was a quadraped and its front half was organic while its back half was robotic. The demon saw Travis and lowered its head. A howl erupted from its mouth that shook the walls of his soul.

"Yeah, I remember you too MotherFvcker." Travis said as he pumped his shotgun and began to fire.

Rae clicked the saftey off on her side arm as she heard the noise. It sent a deathly chill down her spine that caused her to run in it's direction. With one hand she grabbed her COM and keyed in.
"Copy that. Sounds like things are about to heat up again"

"Dammit why the hell ya'll leave me and this bout to happen man?"

He picked his weapon up from off the ground adn slwoly moved looking everywhere, up, down, left, right, even directions not known yet he was so nervous.

Jake went inside a room and Rory followed.

- "That guys fights like shit" - Jake said chuckling - "He's going to get in the way, you realize this don't you?"

- "Yes I do but guys like him are easily removed. I am worried most of all by Travis, all the others mean sh*t to me" - Rory said.

- "What about what Wesker says, he'll want to get his show on the road. Right?...Ada?" - Jake asked.

- "Yes he will, but don't use that name yet. I'm comfortable when nobody asks questions and besides I got to pick my name so I'd like to keep it for as much as I can manage" - Rory said.

General Carlyle opened the door and walked in.

- "What the hell is going on Ada? That bullshit you just pulled with the soldier back there, that's not excersizing the chain of command properly" - Carlyle said.

- "I don't care General, I'm not military, I'm an undercover operative. Those guys out there, I don't need them. Jake and you are the ones I need alive, the others can rot for all I care" - Rory said.

- "You don't really mean that Ada, are you really doing this to help Wesker? Do you really have it in you to murder all this people for profit?" - Carlyle asked.

- "I don't gain anything General. I only live because Wesker wants me too, if I disobey him I'll die. I spent most of my life in a freezer, after the Racoon city incident Wesker saved me and did the experiments on me, he sent me to the island in Spain and then back to the freezer. Everytime I do a mission, I get back and its the freezer for me. I'm a prisoner and if I escape...my life is over" - Rory said.

- "I didn't think you were a prisoner" - Carlyle said.

- "You really think that a man like Wesker would actually want somebody to share his power with? Absolutely not. Jake and I are puppets in his show and if we don't move to his command the strings are cut and we are left to die. Under our heart, between the lungs is a chip, that chip is connected to a cyanide cell, if Wesker is betrayed by us he remotely activates the chip and the cyanide poisons kill us in a matter of painful minutes" - Rory said.

Rory, Jake and General Carlyle stepped into the HQ main room once more.

- "I'm sorry Ada, but this has to be done" - General Carlyle said as he took out his pistol and aimed at Rory and Jake - "I've been working for an anti umbrella group since the disaster that occured last time. It was they that made me come back here not the paycheck".

- "But it's our lives at stake General" - Rory said.

- "I'm sorry Ada, you were like a daughter to me but if your lives must be sacrificed for the well being of the entire human race then it is a sacrifice I must accept" - General Carlyle said.

Jake moved quickly infront of Rory for he was wearing body armor and General Carlyle shot him. Rory took out her guns at that moment and shot Carlyle in the shoulder and the leg. The gun fell from Carlyle's hand.

- "I'm sorry General, but I have to live" - Rory said and Carlyle awaited a final shot but instead Rory put away her guns.

- "If Travis is as good as he seems to be, he will get you out. Or you will all die" - Rory said and left with Jake to the main reception. The Omega labs were sealed but when Rory flashed her id the door opened and they entered it. Jake closed the door and sealed the blast door. Jake then started to type things in the computer and suddenly all controls of the station were disabled. The Station now operated through remote control. The screens in the station suddenly changed to a spining Umbrella corp. shield.

- "We need to hurry before Travis and the others get the news" - Rory said as they moved for the Omega lab elevator.

Back in the HQ Carlyle stood with difficulty and activated the radio.

- "Travis, report back to HQ....hurry up" - Carlyle gasped with the pain in his shoulder and leg, he sat down on a chair and put some bandages on his wounds.
