im seeing a tremendous amount of slander recently (well...libel, but lets not be anal about it)
people trying to reword and alter someone's implication to mean something else.
this is being done through semantics games and warped leaps in logic, and ends up in endless off-topic tireless rebutting/parroting of said slander for pages, killing the thread. any clarification of your statement is pointless as the clearly agenda/grudge driven member(s) will continuously shovel words into your mouth for the win.
personally its got me in defensive stance, and i end up biting the heads of people who genuinely misunderstand what im saying, as opposed to intentionally manipulating it for the win.

"fail" is a term for someone who fails at the internet. like, if someone says something completely asinine and everyone knows it but them, you quote their post and rather than go into some lengthy explanation of why they are a troll or a complete idiot, just type "fail". keep in mind this isnt a tool for debate, but rather a red flag. just a way of saying....well...."fail". then other members read the quote and say "wow...he really does fail...guess i wont waste my time arguing with him".
