whats the opinions on this years nominations

Guillemots - Through The Windowpane
Richard Hawley - Coles Corner
Hot Chip - The Warning
Muse - Black Holes And Revelations
Zoe Rahman - Melting Pot
Lou Rhodes - Beloved One
Scritti Politti - White Bread, Black Beer
Sway - This Is My Demo
Thom Yorke - The Eraser

If it meant anything and was judged on actual talent, then Thom Yorke or Campbell/Lanegan.

It won't be, so it'll probably Arctic Monkeys.

No doubt one of the delightfully obscure bands will win it; a method with which they continue to surprise us (every year).

i didn't think that anthony and the johnsons would win it last year

i haven't heard some of the bands this from this years so i'll try and have a listen in the next few weeks

i just hope hot chip dont win...
