The Godfather theme, Especially the trumpet solo, that always gives me chills when I hear it.
Orale! "The Godfather Waltz" is a great song! I also love that trumpet solo at the beginning (very ominous indeed), followed by the violin solo. By the way, I can play that song on the accordion. The Godfather Sountrack is Nino Rota's best work in my opinion.
I also like "Binary Sunset" (Luke Skywalker's theme) and "The Theme from Jurassic Park", two great orchestral songs by John Williams.

3 years later, I was just reading this thread and I saw that you named the song "Duel of the Heroes" when I beleive it is called "A hero falls" from ep. III. None of you probably even use this site anymore but i couldn't help myself 😛 . So if this helps anyone in ANY way, you're welcome, if this wastes anyone's time, sorry.
"You got the touchhhhhhhhhhhh........." lolz
(I loved "The escape" and other more instrumental stuff on that movie. That tune even got used in Turrican on the c64, such was its epicness. 😄 )
I was thinking about this and which band would have done the most epic music in movies:
And Queen did some pretty epic work on qiute a few.
"Flash............! Ahh-ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...!!! King of the impossible!!!!"
Besides that, other epic queen songs all as used in Highlander. And "Dont stop me now" in that epic, epic pool cue beating session in "Shaun of the dead."
And lets not forget the uber-epic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' scene in Waynes world.
But for Non-Queen epicness, The Blade runner soundtrack, SW, The movie score for Aliens (That bit playing as Ripley goes in in the APC to rescue the marines is my favorite), The Wrath of Khan and Die Hard. The best though, other than the imperial march, has to be the truck scene from Raiders.....surely.
