Kit Fisto. He’s had MUCH more experience than Kolar, and has shown us much more impressive feats. Hell, just about all Kolar ever did was beat up some amateur bounty hunters, get himself trapped in some kind of weird force ball, and get impaled by Sidious’s blade. Kit has also shown us far greater saber skills than Kolar. Unless I missed something, Kit should take this.
The ROTS novel states that Mace and Agen Kolar are the best duelists on Courscant once Yoda and Obi-Wan leave, but in the movie Kit actually lasts a short while against Sidious so I think Kit could take Agen.
Then this should definitely be taken into consideration. To me though, this seems to be a bit of an exaggeration; none of Kolar's feats - related to dueling and whatnot - could so much prove that he is any better than any of the other Jedi. In fact, his feats make him look worse.
in the book revenge of the sith when mace, tiin, kit, and kolar are going to arrest the chancellor kit says that it would be better if obi or yoda where with them and kolar scalds him saying that they are more then enough to handle the chancellor and seeing that kolar got PWN in that fight i think kolar would be over confident with fighting kit and kit would PWN him palpatine style.
