Captain Jack Sparrow "From Wikipedia"
While preparing to abandon ship, Elizabeth kisses Jack while leading him backwards and handcuffs him to the "Pearl"'s mast. She explains that the Kraken is after Jack, not the crew, and that she isn't sorry for what she's done. Jack simply responds with "Pirate." When Elizabeth gets into the boat to escape, Will asks harshly (after having seen the kiss), "Where is Jack?". She responds that he stayed behind to give them a better chance at survival. Jack, meantime, manages to get free from the handcuffs only to find himself confronting the enraged Kraken. Sparrow grabs his sword, says "'ello, beastie," and lunges into the mouth of the beast- proving that he can do the good deed ( earlier in the movie, Elizabeth and Jack are discussing the fact that Jack says Elizabeth will one day come over to the bad side, Elizbeth arguiong that Jack will one day do "the right thing" because he will "want to see what it tastes like"...)
