Hope I dont. I could use a random generator and assign the picks tonight if it would help people prepare.

So we just sign on, click on KMC, and it will go directly to the draft?

an hour before draft it will be open to join. Go to the ESPN league page and there should be a big ass banner up top that says something like your league is now drafting click to join.

"Big ass banner?" Tech talk? haermm

DRAFT IS WEDNESDAY AUGUST 26th @ 7pm EST.

I do not want the 1st pick. Had it last year and I got screwed. 5th would be the best because after Peterson, its a gang **** of RB's without one of them being a clear number 2,3,4, or 5. Once you get past 6th, it get complicated.

cool confirmed Bot and new guy will be there, should be a good turn out.

I agree with not wanting a top pick. I prefer 6-10 to 1-5

DRAFT IS TODAY @ 7pm EST.

Out of 10 people 5th is best, especially this year. Could potentially get LT and Manning/Brady in 2 rounds.

Not sure why you'd want Manning in the 2nd. Or LT at 5th.

😛

But yeah, 1st isn't where I'd want to be. I was at the turn in my first draft this year (8 teams), and it was rather excellent to see who managed to fall to me. I don't expect our league to be quite so generous. But if I had to choose, I'd put myself in the 6th or 7th pick. 1-2 nonsensical picks usually ensure that someone in my top 5 makes it to pick 7 or 8.

Forum, no need to pre-assign. If we're at the draft 10 minutes early or so to see our draft slot, it'll be plenty of time to formulate an early strategy.

LT at 5th?

Not far fetched. People tend to forget when a player has an off year compared to his usual outings, they automatically assume he's done.

Do you think LT will have a worst year than Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson and Gore?

Maybe Manning in the second isn't correct but my point is that picking 5th gives you a good chance in getting a really good RB and a good QB/WR. If you had first or last, you don't get that.

Well I meant I either want 1st, or 5-10. I don't want an early pick that isn't 1st.

LT is the biggest wild card I think. He still has it in him to be the #1 RB or as we have seen could be on the way down. Shaun Alexander fell hard and fast but he had worse injuries and his O-line fell apart so it is a bit different. I know if I am sitting at 6-7 and end up having to take LT I wont be upset about it lol. No chance I touch someone like Chris Johnson in the 1st round.

Hmmm...do I smell a bluff?

True.

It's going to be an interesting draft. Only 1 pick is a sure thing. You might see all RB's in the first round, or Brady/Bree's and Fitz. I wonder whats going to happen.

I was just messing, Smas. LT at 5th is about par for the course. My opinion of him fluctuates by the minute. I could see myself taking him anywhere from #2-8. I think I officially have him at 6th, but I rarely stay exactly true to my draft board.

I'm never going to rate a receiver high enough to get Fitz this year, which is actually sad. He was slightly higher on my board in past years than nearly anyone else's, leading to me owning him in a LOT of league. And elite playmaking aside, one thing that I know from owning him is that the dude never has an off week. In probably 3 straight years of having him in at least one league, his minimum has been maybe 7 points (standard scoring). He might not end up the #1 receiver this year in fantasy, but there's nobody more reliable right now at any position.

So whoever gets him will be lucky. But they'll also probably overspend for him. We'll see.

Oki dokie. I was wonder what you were thinking.

Anywhoo, Fitz is a wildcard. Sure, he was fantastic last year but it was a perfect year for him. Warner was healthy, Boldin had to replace his face and the Cardinals were underdogs/easy schedule.

I can't see him being 1st rounder material, but whatever.

His ADP on most sites hovers around 7th. Early, imo. I'm jaded by my lone 1st round draft that wasn't a RB, but I've seen people succeed with similar strategies.

But yeah, I'll miss knowing he'll produce every week. Even other elite receivers have 2-5 point weeks. Moss in particular, while probably possessing the best upside of any receiver, is very hit/miss.

True.

In my opinion, RB's or a extremely high QB. I think QB's can make or break a team, no matter what RB you have. (unless you had LT during his record breaking year - thats right, I had him bitches)

I almost spit my drink all over my monitor when I read this.
