Dammit, if only I hadn't made that trade. That makes me 0-5 against forum over the past three years. Pwned.
Well we have not seen what Turner will do tonight but Jones had a good game, and I started Ben over Schuab which cost me points, which means so far the trade hurt me this week lol.
But still.....
So are we starting to consider that QB's are more productive in fantasy?
According to the points. 8 out of the 10 top players are QB's and most of those ten had great games today.
With the advent of RB's committees and higher emphasis on passing, QB's should start to be drafted in the first round.

Not really. QB's have always been high scorers in fantasy. The reason they get drafted later is you only need 1 and there is not as big of a drop off in say the 5th best to the 12th best. With RB/WR where each team needs 2-4 of each depth plays a larger role and talent falls of quicker. (you arnt getting a productive RB 1 in round 12 (other than a guy who takes over from injury or something, where you can get a good productive starting QB there)
If we played a league where you started 1 qb, 1 rb, 1 wr then yes I would take a lot of QB's higher or if you had to start 2 or 3 QB's.

I think you will see a bigger trend in drafting QB's early, especially considering some of the top RB's in the first round havn't been consistent.

The elite guys (brady/brees/manning) will be drafted in round 1/2 I imagine but overall I dont see the general strategy changing much the way leagues are set up it just doesnt make sense.
Say its a 10 team league and I decide to wait until all 9 guys have 1 QB before I take mine. This year I could have gotten someone like Big Ben, Eli, Schuab, Palmer, Ryan, Flacco, Favre, Hasselbeck, Garrard, etc... There are typically going to be more QB's who are good enough to start than there are teams that need them. If you play 16-20 team leagues this changes, or if you play 2 QB league. But standard 10-12 team league I dont think you see much difference.
So far your trade did not hurt you (this week RJ) Turner has done nothing and it cost me points at QB.

On a more positive note, shame on the Fluffers for getting blown out by a team who started the invisible man as WR#3.
