Basically he needs WRs in a bad way. LT is pretty much his entire team right now. Colston and Harrison are the big draws. Caddy and Deuce are just to give him some insurance for getting rid of LT.
And I have depth, so giving up all those players won't necessarily kill me (though I'll be a tad thin at WR). But it's worth it for LT.

Defintily.
It's quite funny on how the KMC league worked out. Myself, you and Forumcrew had the top 3 and out of the top 3 picked, Im the only one who still has thier guy.
Its pretty funny.
Irony of ironies....
I'm talking with a guy about aquiring Alexander now. The LT guy didn't take the bait, even though he's screwed because LT's his entire team.
Not sure what he wants for him yet (probably too much) but I can afford to lose 2-3 guys and still have talent to plug into those positions.

Yeah, and in Dallas, Drew Henson was suppose to be future of the Dallas Cowboys. Or that Troy Hambrick was the future after Emmitt Smith left.
Every team thinks that a player will be the future of the team, and when the actual player is the number 1 starter, I woldnt be surpraised 3/4 of them turn out to be duds.
He might or he might not, but I personally dont believe anything the team says about an backup or "future" star.
Half the backup guys are good because they are a change of pace from the starter and only get 8-10 carries a game.
So we don't really know if Jacobs could be good for an entire season or not.
....
And the guy actually wants to deal Alexander to me. I have enough depth to wait for him to heal (unlike in KMC, where I was hurting bad at RB and had to trade him). So here's hoping he can lead me to the championship like last year.
...I might only have to part with a couple guys like Deuce, Colston, or Greg Jennings. He wants Marvin, but I'm going to try and avoid that....even if I have to deal all 3 of the guys I mentioned earlier instead.

a qb whos on the bench and is supposed to be the future and a RB who plays every game in a backup/short yardage role are very different. They can atleast see his on field ability over time. But until he carries the full load you will never know. However, if tiki retires come next year Jacobs is the #1 RB no doubt.
Yeah, but when the first signed Henson, thats what the talk was all about.
I'm just saying that I dont believe any team's saying about a player becoming a great player. They have to say that because the fans will go apeshit if the team goes..."yeah, Jacobs is alright, but he cant really be the number 1 back soooooo yeah, hes starting after Barber retires"
