Well 1) there hardly in the books and 2) we hardly no anything about them. there probably equally the best and neither did anything more amazing than the other (which i can think of)

Whilst I can't make a choice between the two brothers, in effect they did do things in the War Of The Ring

well i found a page on they're biography&history. well it's a factsheet but it has interesting info*Grin*. I love both the twins, but i like Elrohir more Than Elladan.

I believe they were the movie. I heard that the smiths that reforge Narsil are in fact supposed to be the twins. However, this does not match the book, but the book never specified who did it.

PJ specifically said that they were supposed to be "away" in the movie - hence they are not there.

Essentially, they are (?identical) twins, both of whom essentially have the same name, (cf. Letters). They did ride with the Dúnedain to Erech, but I'm not sure of much mention of them in LR until when they accompany Arwen to Gondor.

They were pretty surely identical. "So much alike were they, the sons of Elrond, that few could tell them apart: dark-haired, grey-eyed, and their faces elven-fair, clad alike in bright mail beneath cloaks of silver-grey."

That is one of the few things written about them in the books... oh, and Halbarad said they were 'desiring to go to war'. 😑

I have a picture of the smiths of Narsil in the movie... they *do* look quite alike there 😄 And I actually like the idea of the twins reforging the sword 🙂

Narsil was reforged as Andúril before the Ring set out from Rivendell!

I know it was... still, I like the idea 😉 And was it said anywhere *who* reforged it anyway? 😛

But I don't like choosing between the twins... they belong together and one shouldn't be without the other 😉

We are only told that it was the Elven Smiths of Rivendell.

Oh well... that doesn't say much, does it? Leaves room for own ideas😛
