Of course because more people act 'mature'. If you went by a factor of percentage you'd find a lot more 'stupid' immature people, and I dont think we were refering to the idea of academic intelligence.

More people I know tend to be immature, ironocly. I guess it depends on who you know. Most of my friends are Canadian/Black, sad to say 😬

About how you cannot judge by academic performance. Personally, I believe if people are good with other people, or speak intelligently then that counts for so much more then being able to memorize dates, or select facts.

Although I find that sometimes people aren't judged by that, but personal appearance. Sometimes select personality traits. Just because I'm giggly, bubbly and friendly some people seem to think I'm retarded, when I don't believe I am. I might not be brilliant, but I know I can carry on an intelligent conversation, and I know I can make most people laugh.

Being immature doesn't nessisarily mean you have to be a fool all the time. And besides, like the great Blaxican said, it mostly comes down to who you hang out and what type of person you yourself are.
