Just a reminder to those who never read the Halo Books, you can't use Battle Rifles, SMG's, or the new pistols in Halo 2. Those weapons were still in testing and aren't released yet. You're stuck with Halo: Combat Evolved Weapons. You can however, update the Assault Rifle to an MA5C if you wish (MA5C is the Assault Rifle used in Halo 3, with the reduced clip size to 32, but also with reduced scope size for better accuracy, and more firepower.)
Originally posted by RodgortI had used the battle rifle before. I just figured that as the Spartan 3s we would have access to all the good weapons 😛

Originally posted by NewjakThe Battle Rifles weren't released until the time of Halo, which is a long way from now. Sorry, but I don't think you can use it. It's up to SilentWolf. 😬

What did we say? Could an A.I read the mind of the Spartan or just read it enough to sense how he feel and such? 🙂
A common presence on UNSC worlds and fleets, advanced artificial intelligences serve as highly capable computerized assistants in everything from naval warfare and military planning to accounting. UNSC AIs come in two types, "dumb" and "smart." "Dumb" AIs are specialized in one specific field and cannot improve their knowledge in regards to any other field or grow in terms of processing power. "Smart" AIs are unlimited in their ability to expand and learn, though their rapid rate of self-advancement results in a cognitive "death" after roughly seven operational years, due to critical system functions being used up by the AI to think and process, analogous to a human using so much of their brain to think that they no longer breathe.
As for reading the Spartans mind, most likely yes. You can hear what he's thinking, because you're basically working with his mind.
