I noticed that you have Conner (Kon El) and Robin (I would hope for Tim Drake) as well as Banshee, Thanos and what was possibly, Jean Grey. I am looking for some good DC characters to add to my roster for my own DC vs. Marvel game (one I am arranging for my enjoyment, not one I am creating). If you would be so kind as to e-mail me or upload them, I would appreciate t. I would offer a trade, but you appear to have far more characters than I do. At best, I could ofer up Doomsday, Pyro and Captain Marvel. I didn't notice them on your list. If you are willing to trade or share, then respod here or e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks in advance.
Characters in general, from the DOS version of MUGEN, should work just fine in WinMugen (the Windows hack of M.U.G.E.N.) If not, the problem could be two things.
1)Your sff files are not correctly formatted (leads to characters not working, or poor colorized sprites). To fix this, you would need the CharSFFDtoW tool (Character SFF Dos To Windows Tool). This will repair the SFF file so that it is correctly formatted for WinMugen
2)Your characters def file includes information that limits its use to old versions of Mugen. You should notice something like
VersionDate= v 1.0
MugenVersion=11,01,2001
If you see that in the def file of a character that won't work with WinMugen, delete that bit of text completely.
Those are the two essential problems that plauge DOS characters in WinMugen, such as Superman or Doomsday (both of who I have by the way). Anyways, good luck with your Mugen quest.

(almost) all mugen characters can be converted from dos 2 win there is a handy tool that does that and it also fix's the sprite problem when you chose a char that he changes color when fighting hany program let me know if you guys want it holla

And you probably never will. He is a rare character indeed. It took hours of scouring just to find him. Amazingly however, that didn't yield the Flash or Green Lantern, both of whom are far more abundant, by comparison. I will gladly e-mail him to you. I don't want to leave it up on Megaupload or Yousendit, because then everybody and their mom will go after it. Most people in the Mugen community are pretty elitest, and thus, don't like sharing their character unless it is for a trade.
I am not that way though. Anybody could freely ask me for him, but I would prefer to have some sort of barter leverage with other Mugen users that have rare characters and won't trade them or give them to you. For some reason, most folks are just snobby and won't give or trade unless you have a rare or something. I swear, this shit is worst than Pokemon cards or something. Anyways just leave your e-mail here and i'll mail him to you as soon as you leave it. I check this topic every day...so i'll be watching. And thank you again for Jean and Thanos.

yeah i don't care much for those mugen geeks i understand that all your hard work for a character is hard 2 get props for if the share rate is high but common i am creating char's and i would love it if every body wanted them cause they rock

Even though I am new to Mugen (i've only had it for two weeks) I feel like the Mugen community is suffering because of most creators elitiest attitude. If you don't link directly to their site, and give them a page full of credit, they get upset. Warehousing seems like a better solution to finding characters that creators no longer support. You'll never find Kon-El or Flash anymore, because the creator doesn't even have them on their website any longer. And some creators don't even have websites any longer. Yet, they expect Mugen users to not share characters or host them on their own web sites. What is worst, is when people make these videos on Youtube and specifically say the refuse to share, or that they will only trade you for rares. That is why I am more than willing to give up characters I have, to other Mugen users. The purpose is to have fun. Sadly though, there are some people with characters who won't trade unless you have an ace up your sleeve. So it almost forces you to hold on to rare characters yourself. By the way, I just sent you Doomsday. So enjoy the character. And thanks for your help.
