Okay, there were so many errors and false assumptions made in your opening gentlemen, that the most difficult part is trying to decide where to start! 😄

(1) combining shields is a no-no according to the rules. There is no ‘layered’ shielding. At least according to illadelph (who I assume will judge this and whom I assume will have no problem verifying this point) and fyi: blocking all light will NOT render you invisible – it makes your shield reflective – of course, easy enough for our gl’s to alter the wavelengths they can perceive to render the reflective nature of your shield void. 😉 oh, and if it's shaman -- doesn't he need a special powder to make things invisible . . .? i don't recall seeing you SAY he used an invisibility powder . . .

I think instead of reflecting light, they probably meant refracting light...which of course still doesn't make a difference since Leo/Kahn refuted that with the GL wavelength altering argument.

Pertaining to shielding, per Digimark himself:

[B]Yeah, gf has a point. It's only passive shielding during prep. You can plan that other stuff but it can't actually happen until the battle starts.

I must've missed it when I skimmed his post.

Above post is from Battle #5.

Per Digimark and the rules, only passive shielding is allowed to be activated during prep. Activating 10 plus shields, power meshing (casting protection spells, creating armor for teammates, creating constructs, summoning protective spirits for teammates, etc.) must take place after the commencment of combat, not beforehand.

Such arguments are now null and must be corrected.

This is going to be good.

Judges for this match:

Illadelph, Xmarksthespot, Validus, and outtardwarf.

Also, if I were participants, I'd refrain from posting more strategies at the moment, as there's debate about the constructs thing over in the discussion thread. Please read and contribute to that, and we'll try to come to a conclusion soon so that we can proceed in the battle here.

😂 .... the votes are now 5 - 5 .... a lot of us said having a poll was a bad idea

🙄

Exactally, the polls are pointless I even made a comment about it as well.

Which is why we have the judges deciding the majority of it.

Anyway, temporarily closed.
