I swear, I just got that one joke. herbnone
Hahaha, canceled, right?
Right. 😐
No one's interested in a fanfic after the real thing came out, so nah. haermm
The basic story had to do with Voldemort trying to "Sivience" Salazar Slytherin back. The "Sivience" process was the way Voldemort got his body back- in the book, he calls it an "Old piece of Dark Magic". Slytherin wouldn't have came back to life, he would have been more than a ghost, but not alive. Anyway, before the School year started again, Harry would be lured to watch, and Slytherin comes back. But he escapes and takes with him the knowledge of how to do the "Sivience". haermm
Then, he goes back to Hogwarts and talks to Dumbledore's portrait- Cliche, but stfu. Then Dumbledore decides that they need to get Gryffindor back to combat Slytherin. All the while, Harry is looking for the Horcruxes. There was a bunch more crap all over my computer to do with this, but I lost a bunch of it.
The Sivience of the Ancient Monarchs
P r o j e c t e d C h a p t e r s :
Ch. 1 - Narcissa’s Tail- Narcissa is summoned to Voldemort’s side. He questions her about what really happened the night Dumbledore died. She tells about how she found out from Wormtail that Draco had found the way to get the Order of the Serpent members into Hogwarts. She goes to Knockturn alley to slip into Hogwarts with the Death Eaters. She takes an invisibility cloak from a Death Eater. She sneaks in with the rest of the Death Eaters. She visits Snape, and attacks and stuns him. She places him under the Imperious Curse. She stuns Flitwick, dodges Hermione and Luna, and heads off to kill Dumbledore. After she recounts her experience, the two discuss Snape and his loyalties. The Sivience is mentioned, along with Percy’s betrayal of the Order (Not by name), and his planning of the Wedding attack.
Ch. 2 - ({The} Dursley’s Peril {Demise}) (Harry’s Vengeance) Harry awakes from his dream and does typical summer things. (It’s the Muggle world cup. Petunia is a fair weather fan. {“Then again, Aunt Petunia had bought Red and Green Jumpers when the World cup had been playing, so she wasn’t much of a dependable person.”}) Bellatrix attacks under Voldemort’s orders and Harry defeats her. He picks up her wand; it’s a bit odd. He pockets it. Uncle Vernon is seriously injured. The Emergency Magical Muggle Accident Healer Squad arrives and puts Vernon into St. Mungo’s. (They’re like Paramedics) Also, a group of Aurors come; They take the defeated (Not dead) Bellatrix into Custody. Harry has a chat with Petunia. She reminds him it is not yet is birthday; he was safe from any real harm anyway. She’s apparently sorry about being Horrible to him. She gives him a letter from his parents. (Muggle Post) It has their address. Harry flees to the Burrow, before (he thinks) Scrimgeour arrives.
Ch. 3 – The Order of the Serpent- Harry meets up with Ron and Hermione, with Wedding plans in full bloom. They’re sympathetic about what’s happened. He’s happy, however. Percy is at the Burrow; Apparently, he didn’t like Scrimgeour. There were rumors that Voldemort had captured and tortured him, but he says that didn’t happen. (A Lie, Voldemort was recruiting him.) (Have ‘Dung walk in at this moment, and have the Sneakoscope in Harry’s socks go haywire. He thinks it’s because of ‘Dung, but it’s really because of Percy.) Dobby is at the Burrow. He says he needed another Job, as he thought Hogwarts would be closing. Draco is summoned to Voldemort’s side. (Like TSR) In the night, Bellatrix’ wand goes haywire. Harry destroys it. He thinks it may be a Horcrux, as it destroys a bit odd. Hermione doubts it, but supports Harry. At a secret Castle, Voldemort talks up to Percy (who’s identity is hidden from the readers), and he tells him about the wedding etc. He rambles, and is obviously nervous. He happens to mention that Mrs. Weasley will let Fleur use the Tiara. Voldemort is visibly shaken. He tells him to leave etc. Then, Draco comes in, and he orders him to kill Harry, under the same threats as before. He is preparing to attack Azkaban, to free the Death Eaters there, and make it the Death Order’s Headquarters.
Ch. 4 - Lupin’s Papers- Lupin receives word that he is to lead the Order. We learn more about Lupin. His father, a Muggle, defended His mother, a Witch, from Fenrir. Fenrir knew his mother was the current heir, but Lupin doesn’t know this; He says he knew Fenrir had something against his mother. The trio meets Brance Boren; He’ll be their new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher. They quite like him; he was in Charlie’s year and House at Hogwarts, so he’s quite young. (He was an Auror, until Fudge started chucking Dumbledore supporters out. He became sort of a “good” Bounty hunter after that.) Hogwarts letters are received. Hermione is head girl. Ron isn’t. (Insert typical “Ron. Grr. Boo hoo.” Scenes.) The letters say that the students at the Three Main Schools may go to any school they choose. (School Governors agreed because of Voldemort’s threat in Britain.) Harry is now unsure as to whether he’ll return to Hogwarts. (There’s a chance.) More wedding preparations follow, as well as News of fresh attacks.
Ch. 5 – (Harry’s Birthday) - Harry has his birthday celebration. His magical protection from the Dursleys expires. He has his Apparition test at Diagon Alley. He once again visits Fred and George’s shop. A new broomstick is available, supposedly better than the Firebolt; the Crippler. When he comes back, there is a Ceremonial Pre-Wedding dinner. He sees Lupin and Tonks together; they’re not getting married though. He also hears about Cho’s Auror ambition.
Ch. 6 - Godric’s Hollow- Harry visits his childhood home. The Order is reluctant to let him leave on his own, but has no right to stop him now that he’s of age. (The house is a rebuilt ‘Country Motel’.) Draco attacks. (Dolohov) attacks, and stuns Hermione and Ron. Draco joins with Harry and the duo attack and kills Dolohov. It seems Draco kind of had a thing for Hermione. Then they resume their fight. Harry wins, in the end. He tries to talk Draco “Over to the good side”. Draco seems to want to, but Disapparates anyway. Either (Dolohov) or Draco tell Harry Bellatrix’ wand was fake. Harry thinks they may be lying. (They’re Death Eaters, after all.) Dung (?) turns up in the dead of night, and announces that there had been a Mass Break-Out/Battle) from Azkaban. The Aurors had been guarding it, but apparently there was some sort of battle. Then, he faints.
Ch. 7 - The Rite and the Assault - Huge wedding. Rumors of a new, competing dark Lord are spread. Ernie Macmillian’s family is there; He’s head boy. He’s also very pleased. Huge, Wedding Ceremony.. Mafalda (Ron’s cut Cousin from GOF) makes an appearance. She goes to Durmstrang. Krum is there too; he still likes Hermione, and makes friends with the twins. Ron tries to dance with Hermione at the Reception, but Krum gets there first. Neither of them look too happy after that. Harry sees Percy go inside (Wedding is not at Burrow.), and doesn’t come back out. Death Eaters, on Percy’s info, attack the wedding. Snape comes, and helps Harry, Hermione, and Ron battle. (They’re out of sight of the rest of the Order.) Harry aggressively questions and tries to attack Snape, who only says he didn’t murder Dumbledore. He Disapparates as the Order arrives, because he knows they think he betrayed them. The Order of the Phoenix Prevails in the battle, but decide to retreat back to Grimmauld place.
Ch. 8 - The Sorcerer’s Return- The whole Malfoy-Snape-Lucius-lets attack Voldemort Part from the Sorcerer’s Return goes here. Voldemort is angry that Draco failed again. He ‘should have gone with back-up, or waited to do it at the wedding’ Plus, Draco helped kill (Dolohov). He makes an allusion to Regulus. (You bring the total of Un-Loyal Death eaters to two…) He does the new “Can’t die Crucio” spell; Lucius defends his son. Draco escapes, while Lucius is put under the curse forever. Dumbledore returns in ghost form, and Vouches for Snape. Harry tells him about what he thought was Bellatrix’ Horcrux wand. Dumbledore doesn’t think Voldemort would make her wand a Horcrux. He gets a letter from someone calling there selves Sirius; sad from his visit to Godric’s Hollow, and abandoning reason, he goes to the sender. It’s Voldemort.
Ch. 9 – (The Sivience of {Lord} Slytherin) ({Lord} Slytherin of Fen) Voldemort is the trying to become the Sivient of Salazar. They’re in a grassy Valley. (Fen, Slytherin’s Grave.) Basically, Voldemort and Harry have a chat there. Harry notices that something is gone. The “Sivience” process is what was used to return Voldemort to his body. It can be used to return dead people to almost human form. They’re somewhere between ghosts and alive. Voldemort, using Legilimency, knows Harry knows of the Horcruxes. The Sivience of Salazar Slytherin follows. Blood is already in possession of Voldemort. He says he got it from Fenrir, who’s “had it a long time’... (It’s Lupin’s Mother’s Blood.) Flesh is supplied by Voldemort. He sacrifices a Hand. Bone is not enough for this type of Sivience... He needs a Sacrifice. He uses Lucius. (He is still under the curse.) (It has to be someone Salazar is related to.) Overall, the Ceremony is a bit Darker and more evil. It’s like the Chapter in GOF. “Robe me etc...” Salazar is a bit odd looking, but embraces Voldemort like a brother. Harry has learned the secrets of the Sivience. Voldemort and Slytherin turn their wands on Harry to kill him, but Wormtail, intervenes. Harry Apparates away.
Ch. 10 – (The Mirror’s Presage) (An Eerie Coincidence) - Harry returns and tells all about his Adventure with Voldemort to Dumbledore. He is interested in the Process involved with the “Sivience”. Now Dumbledore knows how to do the Sivience. There’s another “Odd gleam in his eye”. Fortunately, Dumbledore says that he doubted that Slytherin was anything more than An “Intriguing Echo”. He suggests that the Order of the Phoenix should try to revive Gryffindor to help control Salazar. (“It would seem a pity to slip down to Tom’s level, but alas, if this war is to be won, Any means, Even if they shall be Dark, they will be accepted.”) Apparently, it needs to take place where the Founder is buried. They’d have to go to “Moor”. (Where is that, Professor?) (Oh, I have a general Idea...) (Godric’s Hollow). He wouldn’t be surprised if the Current Heir of Gryffindor was in the Order already. (Harry isn’t in the Order.) “Yes, you seem the type to fit that role, but alas”... He thinks the Macmillians were attacked because they were descendents of Hufflepuff. “Voldemort seems to be looking to the past for protection.” He doesn’t know who would be Ravenclaw’s heir… Apparently the Hogwarts founders were also Monarchs. Ron and Hermione are shocked after Harry tells them what has happened... Ron receives another Hogwarts letter, containing the Head boy Badge. Ernie is apparently out for the school year. McGonagall talks with the trio. She gives them permission to leave Hogwarts as they wish; she’s the new Headmistress. She tells them about an unreported break in to Hogwarts; not even the Castle is safe. She gives partial instructions to Ron and Hermione, who are Head Boy and Girl. She talks with Harry about the Quidditch team. Harry gives up his team Captaincy. McGonagall tells him to give it to one of the remaining team members; He chooses Ron. Later, as they’re about to sleep Ron realizes that the Mirror of Erised’s projection came true. Harry wishes that it had come true for him too.
Ch. 11 – (Harry’s Choice) (The Bittersweet Excursion) - Harry chooses to return to Hogwarts after all. He makes his last, bittersweet trip to Diagon Alley. He needs the Standard book of Spells: Grade 7, a DADA book, and possibly another; he buys New Robes, and more potion ingredients etc... At the potion store, he sees that Pre-made potions are now sold. Narcissa’s purchase gave the owner the idea for them. Harry transfers some of his gold to the Weasley vault. The Crippler is off Shelves, for huge Malfunctioning problems. The Firebolt is again the top dog. He again visits Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes. All the Weasleys are there; No word yet of Percy. He is suspected, because The Weasley Clock doesn’t show him in Danger, but he hasn’t returned. Brance Boren and other Order Members ‘guard’ them.
Ch. 12 – The Gryffindor Four- The Return to Hogwarts Ron and Hermione patrol the corridors again, so Harry sits with Neville, Luna, and this time, Dean. Ginny is with other friends. Harry makes friends with Dean (More so, anyway). The feast is subdued, as McGonagall is now the Headmistress. Sorting takes place, but there are less people than usual. Also, older students are sorted; the new Agreement between Durmstrang, Hogwarts, and Beauxbatons is in effect. Ron’s cousin is sorted into Slytherin. She’s a 4th year. Draco is gone, of course, along with Crabbe and Goyle. Professor Boren is already Deputy Headmaster; Flitwick was the first Option, but he chose not to. Professor Slughorn stays another year, and is head of Slytherin. (For now...K) Professor Boren is the new Head of Gryffindor House. Fred and George are Flight instructors, taking Madam Hooch’s place. They’re greeted with excitement. When Ron, Neville, Dean, and Harry return to Gryffindor tower, they notice something; Seamus isn’t at Hogwarts, and there are only four beds.
Ch. 13 – Defense against the Dark Farts- The trio attend Professor Boren’s class for the first time. Instantly, he is their Favorite teacher. The first lesson, he orders “Books away”. He teaches them a new type of dueling, similar to Summoning in Final Fantasy. The person performs a charm, and a something to fight for them is produced. It’s kind of like the Patronus, except it works on everything except Dementors. They listen to the caster, doing what they say. He sets them up in Pairs for practice duels. (Not necessarily in the same Class period.) Ron and Dean duel. Ron’s wins, but as Deans is Fainting, it farts, and Ron’s faints too. (l0LzK) Professor Boren also mentions the “Wand in Sword” type of Dueling. He doesn’t show them how, just mentions it. Professor Slughorn still sucks up to Harry. He retrieves Snape’s potion book from the Room of Requirement before the class. He may need to suck up to Slughorn in return. Professor McGonagall is still the Transfiguration teacher. She’s starts Human Transfiguration. Flitwick remains the Charms Professor. Harry’s still in Herbology.
Ch. 14 – The Doomspell Competition- Professor Boren is given permission to set up a Competition, similar to the Triwizard tournament. House members of any year can sign up for the tournament, though numbers must be equal. The catch is that anyone entering must have good Grades in DADA, and must attend a Dueling Club. Most do anyway. Points are given, and House Points are earned. A new trophy is added to the two already ones; The Quidditch cup, the House cup, and the Doomspell Cup. Ron signs up for the first one at once; Hermione chooses to “do the next one”. Harry really can’t spend the time to do it.
Ch. 15 – (Nick’s Secret) - Harry and Nearly-Headless Nick get to talking about ghosts. Each of the house ghosts are descendents of their Specific house. Nick knows Dumbledore is back. Harry talks to Dumbledore (Via his Portrait) about it. He is mildly surprised, and invites Harry back to Grimmauld place. Dumbledore explains exactly how Ghosts become what they are. (He knows, obviously.) They talk a bit more there, (Nick shows up) and he brings out someone. He says they’re about to try to bring Gryffindor back. “This is the Heir of Gryffindor!” Their face is hidden in shadow, but Harry knows who it is. The chapter ends in Suspense.
Ch. 16 – The Other Prince - The person is Lupin. They take a Portkey to Godric’s Hollow. (They’re careful, like in the “The Advance Guard” chapter in OOTP.) They Resurrect Gryffindor. Lupin is indeed the Heir, and the Sivience works. Flesh comes from Lupin, the Blood from Voldemort himself, and the Sacrifice is Fawkes. (Harry received a slight shock. Perhaps it was just a trick of the light, but Lupin seemed suddenly nobler. Luckily, the Phoenix is accepted. Godric is disoriented a bit, but takes to Dumbledore like an old friend. They talk, and Gryffindor tells what happened when Slytherin left 1,000 years ago. Harry stays the night at Godric’s Hollow, and returns to Hogwarts the next day.
Ch. 17 – Nagini- The chamber of Secrets Re-Opens, and the Slytherin Common room is shut. They are moved to South Tower. A message is on the wall of the Corridor by Myrtle’s bathroom. It warns that Slytherin has returned, and to watch out for the Serpent in the Chamber. Harry, realizes that it was Nagini that was missing during Salazar’s Sivience, and that it must have been her that broke into Hogwarts. He decides to go back down into the chamber. Hermione goes with him; Ron has to go to the dueling club with Professor Boren. They talk to Myrtle. She misses Draco. The serpent has grown massive. They fight and kill it. They remember that it was Nagini that attacked Mr. Weasley. It isn’t, however, a Basilisk, so they can look at it. . Harry is sure it’s a Horcrux, and sure enough, he blacks out from the pain his Scar Produces. Voldemort is angry…
Ch. 18 – (The vision and the Mission) - Harry wakes up in the hospital wing after a horrible dream about Sirius and Regulus Black. He again returns to the Burrow, with Ron and Hermione. They meet up with the Family (Bill and Fleur are there), and talk … Dumbledore is visiting, so Harry questions him about it. He tells him about Nagini. Dumbledore is delighted to hear about the death of Nagini, and says that his hurting scar proves it was real. Dumbledore thinks R.A.B is Regulus, (“His middle name is, After all, ‘Arcturus.”) but advises Harry to put that from his mind, as it may already be destroyed. They return to Hogwarts on Halloween. Ron participates in the first Task. He takes third overall. The next task is set for December 11. Sign-Ups for the next week… (Task Ideas?)
Ch. ? – The Icy Horcrux- Somehow, Lord Voldemort learns that Harry knows of the Horcruxes. He goes to personally check on each of them. He, of course, can’t check on Nagini, but realizes she’s dead when, after he calls to her, she doesn’t come. He meets Harry and they talk/duel etc. Ron and Hermione happen to be with him. Voldemort does a weird spell on Hermione because she’s a mudblood; Ron and Harry think she’s dead. The fight ensues etc. Eventually Harry and Ron end up hiding behind a slab of ice, just like Harry did in GOF. Déjà vu. They decide to go out fighting. They attack, but Voldemort knocks them back. Ron is knocked out. Voldemort says something menacing, and raises his wand. Harry has his arms clutched around Ron’s bloody arm, and Hermione’s motionless hand. Suddenly, Dumbledore arrives. This is bad. Voldemort can’t know that Dumbledore is still in this world. They make small talk. Voldemort tries to Accio the Cup away, but Dumbledore takes his wand out and kicks butt, which is weird; Ghosts can’t do magic. Voldemort shrieks etc, and apparates away. Harry and Dumbledore talk, and he explains that Voldemort knowing he is not gone gives the OOTS an advantage. Together, they destroy the goblet. Dumbledore fixes Hermione and Ron, and they leave.

And then there was the last part of Chapter one I never bothered to post, because I could never do the middle. 😐
“I suppose you, like I, have failed to hear from Severus?” Voldemort asked. Narcissa nodded. “One might think, that two week after he was so involved in such an important killing of the top advisor of our main enemy, that a loyal subject might have reported something back to his Lord in some way! Two weeks!”
“Perhaps he is merely afraid, my lord. You might have thought that it was him that intervened with Draco’s duty. Either that, or-“
“Either that, or I have been betrayed by the betrayer,” Voldemort said softly, most likely to himself. Narcissa was lost for words. “Severus has failed to contact the Order of the Phoenix as well.”
“How do you know this?” Narcissa scoffed. “The way Lucius painted it, Snape was the only spy in the Order of the Phoenix- not unless the Order informs you whom it has been meeting with on a regular basis!”
“Lucius has been in Azkaban prison for nearly a year, Narcissa. Though the Dementors have defected to our cause, Aurors still guard the prison. Lucius has thus been out of contact with any of our ‘Order’ – the Death Eaters and I – for that year. Logically, that would be the time frame in which I gained this spy; your information is old, Narcissa.”
“It would have been risky having two spies.”
“Who are you to accuse others, Narcissa?” Voldemort snapped. “The final time I check in on Wormtail and Severus before I turned him over to you, the rat had some very interesting news for me.” (Narcissa shivered uncomfortably.) “It seems that Severus – with your confidence – willfully took over Draco’s responsibilities via an Unbreakable Vow. Not only did you undermine me that night, but you also revealed valuable plans – my plans – to an individual who knew not of them.”
“Snape told me he knew exactly what the plan was! He-“
“I never told Snape anything of which I consider great importance; Not once in over 18 years has he been a true ally and spy. So my question now to you, Narcissa, is: How, in the sacred name of Salazar Slytherin himself did Severus Snape learn of my plans for Draco?”
“I have no idea. I’ll swear it, my lord! Not unless… no.. maybe…
Oh no! Snape is an Occulemens!”
“Are you implying that he coaxed it out of you and simply pretended that he had it from me?” Voldemort asked. Narcissa nodded. “Then why would he suddenly attack Dumbledore, and blow his cover, when he would know full well that we would need his spy keeping abilities in the coming weeks? The Order would have been in disarray. With his guidance, we could have had then beaten, dead, and – not buried – reanimated. His actions were in direct defiance of not on the Order, but of my orders.”
“I have no idea. Perhaps, my lord, Snape is playing only for himself.”
“No. That would be impossible. Snape knows that both sides consider him too valuable to just walk away. He is playing games with either the Order, or us, and he has been doing it for a while now.”
“So, my lord, who’s side is he on?”
“I do not know, Narcissa, for the second time. I must confess that this disturbs me greatly. However, if Snape has indeed gone idiotic and decided that the Order’s interests are greater than mine, we will know. My second spy will inform us.”
“Who is this mysterious second spy?” Narcissa asked sardonically.
“This does not concern you, Narcissa. Consider it an honor that I am revealing these thoughts to you at all. Know this, doubter: Lord Voldemort always has a plan. Lord Voldemort has a second spy in the Order of the Phoenix, ready to take Snape’s place. Lord Voldemort, before the end, will stand victorious and tall in the last days of the free world!” Voldemort rambled. His eyes had widened along with his slitlike nostrils; even his arms were raised in triumph.
“Am I privileged enough to know the basics of this plan, my lord?”
“It’s simply an attack on the Order of the Phoenix. A very basic attack, at that.”
“An attack? My lord, does this mean, if Snape is no longer among us, a return to the old ways? Monarchial warfare? Battlefronts?”
Voldemort smiled. “In a way, yes, Narcissa. Such wars have not been fought for a thousand years, not since Salazar Slytherin struck out from Hogwarts castle for the last time. He led armies of Trolls and wizards, Inferti, and even the earliest Dementors against the forces of the Alliance: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, and Rowena Ravenclaw. Together, they fought against Slytherin, to defend the Mud-bloods and muggles. Godric was particularly fierce; you can imagine the carnage that took place the first and final time they met on the battlefield- At least, the carnage that would have take place.”
“What do you mean, my lord?”
“No one, not even I myself, know for sure. Some say they simply blew each other into rat food. Others say they banded together and started another School away from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw- idiots. There is but one person that says the two never met on the battlefield, and on their deathbeds vowed to one day fight, when the forces of good and evil were ripe for another war; that they will return one day.” The maniacal gleam was in his eye again. “Yes, Narcissa. I believe we will return to the old ways, in some ways, more than others.
Minutes passed in silence. Narcissa made numerous attempts to say something, but failed to garner any voice. Finally, after a quarter of an hour, Voldemort said, “I think this interview is over, Narcissa.”
Both stood up and bowed slightly to each other. Narcissa made to leave, but was stopped.
“One moment, Narcissa,” Voldemort said, reaching for an envelope on his desk. “Deliver this to Bellatrix. Remind her that he is to be kept alive. Remind her to keep the false one secure. She can not fail me.”
“He? False what?”
“It’s all explained inside the letter, which, I might add, you will not read. Those orders are for Bellatrix Lestrange.”
Narcissa gave him a look of pure loath, but bowed low, and said, “It will be done, my lord.” She stood up properly and strode out the room, clutching her parchment importantly.
Outside, the lightning flashed one more across the sky, and for a moment, a maniacal, twisted smile was present on the face of Lord Voldemort. But then, just as quickly as both had come, they were gone.
I honestly haven't given this thing much thought recently, so I forgot a bunch of stuff, but the end had Voldemort and Harry fighting near this huge cliff, along with the Order/Death Eaters, Giants, Luna's creatures, whatever else is mentioned. They both eventually fall off or something, while Ron/Hermione etc are looking on. Voldemort's body is found, but Harry's isn't, so no one knows what happened to him. I don't even know. It's one of those "whatever you want" endings. 😐
So, there's that, read it if you want, if not. srug
It's not even the whole story, and a lot of that summary was vague and outdated. If I thought anyone cared, I'd finish, but nah.
Sure, why not? jlaugh
