"Spike shut your mouth, you're a disgrace. He's a part of our tea-" Abbra said, approaching him and more than ready to give him the guilt trip, and verbal spanking of his life. Her voice, abnormally high pitched and strained with near uncontrollable anger stopped. She watched Axel, she seen his fists, and Abbra herself seen what was coming. He was indeed not the same Axel she knew, that she wanted to know. Her lips parted, but only a rattling, fear stricken breath came from them. Spike was going to be hurt, that was more than apparent, but it was the magnitude of the injury's she would be unsure of.Abbra quickly retreated to the closest wall, watching Axel with horror. So this is what had become of her hero, her role model? The snap of shattered bones made a small part of her unravel. But the sound just kept coming, echoing in her ears. "Axel stop it!" She shrieked, she begged. Small beads of moisture slipped from her eyes as she continued to watch blood pour from Spikes mouth. "Stop it! You'll kill him!"
As she watched Spike's wrist break, so did her wit's end. She was right, Axel had definitely gone to far. Far to far. For the first time in her life, she did something she had not planned on. She landed beside Spike's side, his blood staining the knees of her pants. Her hands gripped Axel's wrist, and with herculean effort, she tried to keep it there, trying to pull Axel away from his victim. He was to strong, and easily escaped her awkward grasp. Afraid he was going to strike her, she retreated and watched him snap his elbow. Once again, she jumped in for a moment and attempted to push Axel with everything she had. Once again, her strength was not enough. Backing away again, it seemed like an eternity before anybody tried to stop him.
Abbra got up, shaking and crying, dripping with Spike's blood. "Jacob..." She gagged and stumbled over to him. Her forehead ran along his shoulder, as tears drizzled from her eyes, which turned the brightest blue from the excess moisture. Her bottom lip quivered stubbornly, her fingers gripped the tops of his sturdy arms. Her tears poured onto his shirt. "I seen everything." She said between patchy breaths and the occasional hiccup.
