Yes its true. Namor is hated by white American men.
Why? Because he is Black and muslim. The two things white Americans hate the most. Namor doesn't have the all American appeal Woverine (Rambo, John Wayne) or Thor (white Jesus) has. In Comics we (the fan) tend to follow the characters that we have something in common with.
This all comes from the tread Namor vs Jugs. This is not about Power vs Power, this really about black vs white, Christian vs Muslim. Being a comic fan for over 27 years I have grown respect for The writers and artist that have given the world a glimse of fairness though animation. Namor is a ground breaking achivement based on history and nearly a hundred years of development. Yes! HISTORY, Namor the King of Atlantis, and Namor is the first Marvel character. JUGS?
I put the blame on Marvel, shame on you. How dare you let your 1st character fall to the pits of unworthy comparisons.
Namor should be promoted to godhood. Marvel whatever happened to the Namor Movie. I know what really happened. No one wanted to see it. Where you used to be the forth coming creative giant that comic fans waited in suspense on unpredictable endings, is now predictable as the sun rising in the east. No Juggs can not nearly stand toe to toe with Namor in water or without, Namor will KILL him. JUGGs will die and so will Woverine, and 95% of the entire Marvel Universe. Save the Namor battles for Thor, Blackbolt, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Thanos, Drax and the like.
