so im a loser for not spending out loads of money on a little handheld device when i have a ps2 xbox and gamecube?. i only see one loser here. unlike you im not mind controlled into spending stupid amounts of money for a handheld and games that although maybe slightly different, are not much different that the ones you already own on your big console.

I'm not calling him narrow-minded because he doesn't "share my beliefs." He's being narrow-minded because he isn't even stopping to consider that, just maybe, 21 million people might know something he doesn't.
All I'm saying is that Deano, you are attacking an entire system, claiming mediocrity of games as your reason, when in fact you have no real reference for your claims. Maybe you've played a few minutes of a few demos in a store, but you don't truly know what the games are like. You're simply assuming DS games are like every other system's games, and making yourself appear silly by pushing a view that you really can't support.
When I said "We all know we're right," I was referring to everyone in the thread who owns/ has played a DS, who know what the games are truly like, and can see how uninformed your statements are.

That depends. Did you actually play it before deciding it sucked, or did you decide so simply by hearing what other people said and then rejecting it because so many people loved it?
If someone plays a game and decides he doesn't like it, that's fine by me. But one of the things that really pisses me off is when a person says something sucks without any personal experience of the subject. If you're going to insult something, at least get some experience with it so you can look halfway competent when you attack it.

Your not a loser, but your narrowminded to think that the DS is the same as the current gen. It's not, and it's main selling point is that its completly different than whats out today. The games are completly different and you cant buy any of the games on the DS, that you can get on the big console, aside from a few ports, which in turn, are completly different than their counterparts.
Have you noticed that the PSP, which faults are what you describe, that games are available on the PS2 is the main reason why its not selling as much as the DS.

Yoshi's Story, Mario Sunshine, Wind Waker. (It's NOWHERE near LTTP or OoT, could very well be the worst since Zelda 2)

i dont think the games are mediocre. i never rlly said that. i just dont like playing games on a small screen, whatevaa games are on the ds, i will find other games to keep me enetertained on other consoles i own. the nintendo ds is nothing to orgasm over.

I don't care how childish Yoshi's Story is, I still love it 😛 it's a game that even though it's easy, I've never gotten bored of. That's a miracle in itself.
Besides which, I never had an SNES (until my brother nabbed a used one at Gamestop a couple years ago), so thus I never played Yoshi's Island.
