Ah, Tanis. He, after all, is Half-Elf and that puts him in favor of being much faster and he more experience than Riverwind. Though, Tanis might get distracted at the fact that he's fighting a friend and wallow in self-doubt. He seems to a rather depressing character all around.

Ah, yes I always do forget he was still considered an Apprentice when that occured. I'd have to go with Nightmaster Lillith though, because she seems a bit more powerful than Dalamar at his apprenticeship. The Nightmaster is a woman, right?
