I wouldn't mind seeing Will take down Beckett in the third film; that or Jack. After all they each left a mark on one another. And to get to Davy's heart they will have to go through the East India Trading Company.

Why can't Davy Jones be good? He is evil because his heart was carved out. What if the heart was put back in somehow? His compassion would be restored, freeing Bootstrap, calling off the Kraken, and allowing Piracy to continue. Then he dies because Tia doesn't love him anymore. How tragic. (And as he's dying the audience hears that sad tune from the music box trinket getting slower, and slower, and stop.)

On wikipedia, there is a rumour that in the 3rd film, Davy kills Beckett. Wikipedia didn't say where they got that rumour from, though. It'd be good poetic justice. I've read the draft script, and I hope that the final film keeps to the Davy/Calypso love story. If we follow the story (as it is in the draft, since that's all we've got to go on) the legend of Calypso states that the Brethren of Pirates had her reborn into the body of an ORDINARY mortal woman. Tia Dalma is a voodoo priestess of magical powers who can bring back the dead. An ordinary mortal woman, would, logically have no memories of being Calypso, and Tia Dalma knows the story. Also if Tia Dalma was Calypso, why would there be this big mystery? If Tia Dalma was Calypso, why would Jack steal the locket from her? Also, when Jack gave Elizabeth the compass that she was the only one who could make it point to the location of Davy's heart. They're only theories - Calypso could very well be Tia Dalma. It would work either way, but I think I'd prefer it for drama's sake if it turned out to be Elizabeth. It would be a nice, cheery ending if the spirit of Calypso could be released from (whoever's) body and Davy could be reunited with his lost love and he and his crew released from damnation. Or perhaps he will die for Elizabeth/Tia/whoever he thinks is Calypso. Naomie Harris said Tia Dalma has a dramatic departure from the film. Also, in DMC, when Tia Dalma was telling the story of Davy Jones and his love, she did say that "him never stop loving her."

i have a stupid question...
If Tia really is Calypso. is it possible that Jones dies trying to saye Tia in some kind of danger.

Jack is stuck at world’s end, and meets up with Jones, who has been sent there for lack of heart. Jack does off with Davy, and is thereby free to pursue Lizzie. Will loses his mind and becomes the new captain of the flying dutchman, whilst freeing his father. Liz gets kidnapped by the asian dude and frees herself with some clever persuasion. Will brings the flying dutchman to rescue her (why he became captn to begin with) only to find she is gone. Meanwhile, Liz runs into Jack's dad, who has heard she is the newest and most fearsome pirate in the waters. They get info about Beckett's impending attack, and attend a pirate council, while Liz learns major info about Jack's past from his dad. She is falling for him bad. Jack reconvenes with the Black pearl and learns lizzie was kidnapped, and steers the Pearl toward Singapore. The crew assumes he is going to save Liz, but in fact, he makes an aliance with the Asian dude and Tia Dalma, who has shown up there in the nick of time. Jack’s dad shows up and they all prepare to defend the pirate way, while Lizzie sails back to Port Royal to try to negotiate the cessation of hostilities. Norrington gets a hold of her and tells her to marry him or he will kill her dad. She refuses, thinking he is still good in there, but in fact he is pure evil and kills dad. Furious, she kills Norrington and goes after Beckett, who she kidnaps and brings back to Singapore. The EITC is assembled and keeps coming. Liz has an akward reunion with Jack, and she delivers Beckett up to him. Jack taunts him. Beckett bargains for his life by convincing Jack he knows how Jack can win lizzie forever. Jack is secretly intrigued. Beckett insights him to sink the flying Dutchman, and Jack departs to fulfill this mission, hoping it will win Elizabeth. Lizzie finds out and goes after him. Jack’s dad goes after them both. The black pearl crew goes after them all. The EITC shows up at Singapore and no one is there. Big battle on the water ensues where the flying Dutchman and Black Pearl are pitted against the armada of EITC. Will uses the kraken to destroy them all. He sets up a wedding on ship and he and liz are about to get married, when tia dalma turns into a goddess and gives Lizzie a choice: she can either wed Will and return to land, where she must stay, or she can take over Tia’s job as Calypso, so Tia can go be reunited with her lover at world’s end, dead Jones. The job entails acting piraty and sailing about with Jack. Liz makes the right choice. Will sails back to land to take over governorage of port royal, where his father is. Liz and Jack sail off into the sunset.

i like it... but i dont think jacks gonna "like " lizzz, cuz hes a bit like a guy with 10 or more womens and hes not the type of guy to go after 1 woman and risk his life 4 her(if u no wut i mean)
i also think that norrington doesnt wanna marry lizz anymore cuz he was heartbroken in the 1st film and nows that hes not his type of woman....plus,if he kills her dad,hes not gonna get back the "commodore" he anted to be...

but i love the fact that wills the new captain...sounds gd 😛

Yeah, I heard her say Tia Dalma has a dramatic departure too. Does that mean she dies?

i hope not. i dont like it when people die in movies. but when Barbossa died i was happy cuz he was evil 😄

Well like even when Barbossa died i mean u gotta admit the character is awesome. Hes evil but i dunno in a funny way. I dont think any MAIN characters are gonna die..ppl know how much we cherish these ppl so i doubt theyll just kill them.

But Tia is about as bug of a characterr of Barbossa tho
