Yeah, just look at us. I use MySpace for networking and promotion, I spent a LOT of time putting together the various profiles and to have one deleted is a nightmare.

All my friends and I have been going through the same thing. Hacker maybe? I'm sure they have a backup. The community is the reason Murdoch bought MySpace for 130 million or whatever the number was.
It's on its way to being fixed now anyway, as far as I'm aware. There was a power outage, which knocked the databases, so they had to transfer a lot of the data to other databases and in doing so caused a lot of accounts to appear to have been deleted.
I heard that they don't have any kind of decent backup for this sort of outage, which is crazy when you think of the size of MySpace.
