The actually riddle is as follows.

Tink of words that end in "gry" Hungry and Angry are two of them. There are three words in the english language. Is something everyone uses every day. Everyone knows what it means. If you listened carefully I've already told you what it was.

No it is a real word.. it is a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust.

It isn't a hoax word... it was first intended as a hoax but it is now used for the name of the disease.. It has been in the English dictonary.. It isn't used much though because of the length and only docters would use it anyway.. they use pneumoconiosis which cuts out a large chuck of the word.
