Disney broke all the rules even making a movie about pirates, so I can see them branching off from the fairy tale ending and doing a complete twist, but I can also see them playing and teasing Jack/Liz and then getting her to set things straight with Will and the two of them stronger than they ever were before. But I wouldn't depend on Disney patterns for anything.
