Not superman... he makes a point not to get involved in politics... he didnt even stop luthor becoming president... and in the 'for tomorrow' arc he went to the middle east and stopped a bloody war, and he regretted every second of it, even afterwards he apologised and tried to set things straight...

She Hulk... as much as i like her, she seems awfully commited to the whole registration thing...

Yeah, I don't get why anyone would look to a Frank Miller book for the definitive characterization of Superman.

Superman, no. John Steward? Not sure, but I haven't seen any reason to think he would be, although I could be wrong.

Now, some like Captain Atom, yeah.

Iron Man? .... I could see why you'd say that.... if you're basing your characterisation of him from one single story.... over the years he's gone against SHIELD and the Government more times than most (he's also been the secretary for defence though)
