Punisher War Journal # 3: I thought the issue dragged for the most part of the issue but it picked up at the end. The Punisher is back hunting super villains and the "Satan's Claw" is just cool!

Actually im a bit pissed off as well. I cant see Frank beating Cap but he can put up a fight. From what I saw there he got curbstomped. Its like their depowering Frank.

I don't see Frank winning either, but I don't like the way he's been written for quite some time now. They are really pushing it, though. Cap and Frank had some good fights in the past.

i think the idea behind frank refusing to fight cap rolled in with the whole "war" aspect of civil war. even if they've fought in the past, they werent in the same conditions they're in now [and were when frank was in boot camp.] it's an interesting concept, and even though frank would've lost if he HAD fought, i think the psychological edge he plays at ["he knows i won"] is an interesting plot point.
