The new Darkness comic is nowhere as good as the old one. The old one was damn cool...This one? I don't wanna say anything bad about it especially in a respect thread, but the old one had serious pootential.

The first volume of the Darkness kicks ass.
Second Volume introduced a more a Darker Side to The Darkness…but was severely watered down towards the end.

I like the direction the new series is heading, maybe a couple changes here and their.

Jackie can control/summon them even if they are very far from him all of the darklings have shape shifting abilities like the 3 which goes down into a guys throat then grow their sizes.

are you sure? Batman/Darkness is referencered multiple times throughout volume one... actually, it's basically the cataylst for a huge change in the storyline. Batman/Bruce Wayne and Gotham City and the events of Batman/Darkness are mentioned by Jackie, Jenny, and Frankie many, many times.

Jackie uses his powers to search the city for an assasin he sees through the shadows aswell uses them to "travel" he can also see what the killer has done in his life and finds Jenny's sister.
