something thats racking my brain again:
The curiosity scene.. Liz is basically saying to him If you do the right thing and be a good man for me...then you get to have me. You will want to know what it tastes like(double meaning) to do the right thing for me. And he does do the right thing for her later on. So then she does something bad to Jack which is what HE wanted in that curiosity scene..When she leaves him its like she gets 2 things out of it..1)she can remove the temptation because she's not ready to accept him yet.. 2)she also lets Jack know that he did win her heart over before he dies..Its like saying thanks for giving me what I want...So here's what you wanted..
She was basically waiting for him to confirm that he knew it before she left..she looked as if she wasn't about to budge until she was certain that he knew..when he says "pirate" it validates it and that gives her the strength to leave..
