Although it isn't exactly widespread, I agree that there is a higher level of cynicism on the GDF. More people there seem to present their opinions and beliefs as fact and dismiss others instantly.
Its not that everyone there is cynical, I guess its just that more cynical people choose to post there than in other forums.

Well, there's not much space for cynicism when you only count from 1 to infinity.
Perhaps they consider being cynical a pre-requisite, to be intelligent enough to post regularly in the GDF and create some kind of status for yourself there you also have to be a pompous ass?
I don't think intelligence goes hand in hand with cynicism, which is probably why I'll never be fully accepted into the GDF Inner Circle 😛

Maybe it's jsut because intelliegence goes hand in hand with intelligence, though ...hehe
