Duke Nukem Vs. Master Chief

Well then I edit my post and say that yes, It all does come down to MC's enhanced genetics and Duke's so called "Immortality". I still say MC would beat him.

The improvements that went on MC allow him to run faster, lift more weight, and stay alive longer than any normal man could. I mean, look at the weight of his armor, it weighs just about 1 ton, and he's able to lift it like it's a feather [Yes, it does weigh 1 ton, look it up sometime!].

Also the results are fatal, many people die after getting those enhancements.

Duke has done more than "any normal man can".

His weapons allow several ways to kill MC instantly and he's not "limited" like MC either. He can fly, he can carry tons of weapons, he can shrink, expand, freeze, kill from the inside out... etc. His arsneal is simply much better. If this were a h2h match I would say otherwise, but it simply isn't.

OK so no novel. Read the manual that comes with the game. He has better reflexes, better everything. If we're going by the game then MC can lift several dozen tons, since he can flip the largest of tanks with total ease... You guys tell me I can't use the manual as canon then go use the manual to state Duke is immortal.

It's fine by me if you want filter the "usable" canon to make the MC as weak as possible and not do so with Duke Nukem but MC's training and ability are extreme. A trained Marine could beat the shit out of 10 people without training. It counts for a lot.

Someone mentioed before missiles>bullets, In this fight it'd be untrue, because a bullet will reach it's mark before a missile...and the Master Chief most likely wont miss if he is TRYING to get a headshot. You cant go around and say that the Duke Nukem games mechanics don't allow headshots, then go on about aspects that make Duke stronger through realism...

MC beat...1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...different alien races...for the most part on his own in the games...

He had Marines whith him every other level...so did The Arbiter.

No not ever other level, and he only had marines for small portions of most of the level he had Marines, and those marines sucked ballz. 50 marines couldnt' beat level 1 on heroic. 1 MC could beat all the levels on legendary and have the time to mop the aleins blood up off the floor with their faces.

No, the argument is that Duke has defeated far tougher opponents... And if you think the Tricloid Empire is made up of a single species of Alien, your dead wrong...

The 4 boss monsters I know MC couldn't handle: as Cm said the Battlelord, Overlord, Cycloid Emperor, and the Queen would all kill MC with pitiful ease, MC has got only two weapons capable of doing any sort of significant damage to them, but nowhere near the nessisary ammo amounts to take them down with either one of them.

As for the Novel arguments, I beleive I have addressed them, you say the novels are out, which is in accordance with the rules, that leaves us with the tank flipping, guess what, MC never LIFTED those takns, Flipping tanks does not equal being able to bench press them, so no 60 tone lifting strength. Maybe 12 or 13, but nowhere near 50 or 60.

Better speed and reflexes? neither of which has been seen in game, not where the evidence counts, Duke under Steroids had a much better performance rate, much faster, turned quicker. otherwise they moved equally in game. Do you argue these facts?

Yes. The Master Chief's reflexes and agility are increased because it says so in the manual. If someone playing the game has awful reflexes, then it's the person playing the game not the character. You people dont make any sense saying the MC's reflexes are no better than a humans.

ok don't stare gwarsh, anways MC wins, assuming they are as fast as each other (althoug in my opinion MC is quicker even when Duke was on drugs) MC's got the better weapons and the shield, sides MC is way cooler then Duke, plus you got that blade thingy, one stab and its over

Alright, how much better? X 2? X 3? You can't make the numbers up as you go in these debates, this is why information not sdeen in a game is questionable, it must be in accordance with the game itself.

And my reactions in videogames are pretty good, but this does not shape a point does it, your excuse for the novels was that if they made the game with those advantages it would be a sucky game, well guess what, Duke under Steroid Power has all those advantages, and Duke is still a cool game so that point is now null.

Whoa now wait a second, the Master Chief definately dosen't have better weapons unless he comes into battle with some kind of vehicle.

I never said the game would suck if they made it with those advantages, it'd probably be better as they'd change the enemy difficulty/amount slightly to match it. It'd be more interactive.

Information I state isn't that questionable because in real life, a person who used that suit WOULD most likely suffer fatal injury because it it's ablities.

Seriously, an AOE WMD of that scale is beyond anything MC could bring to the field, and theres no time to run away from a plasma explosion that enormous.

This is similar to the Samus vs MC thread. It boils down mostly to technology and more specifically weapons. 😄 Duke has more. He can carry a lot yes?
