What does everyone think about Heath Ledger being cast as the Joker?

I suppose he'll do a good job... I'm trying not to think about his position in the movie. The movie is going to kick ass either way, as Batman Begins was astounding and the sequel will be way better. As for Heath, as long as he does everything right, then I think he's fine.

Put it this way... I watched the first one again right before I saw Batman Begins. And to be honest, I didn't really like Jack Nicholson too much. So as a comparison, I think Ledger may be the better Joker... but I'll have to fight off thousands of fans in the meantime after saying that.

I'm fine with it. Chris Nolan doesn't continue unsatisfied, and he knows what the people want.
