BackFire
Blood. It's nature's lube
This was such a beautiful horror movie.
It had an amazing claustrophobic atmosphere, tension you could cut with a knife, some of the most unnerving monsters I've ever seen, and some of the best use of blood and violence I've seen. The gore was impressive and used often, but never to the point where it felt the movie was relying on that factor to be cool. The atmosphere and creatures were always the most affecting things in the movie. This movie was probably the best horror film I've ever had the pleasure of seeing in the theater.
See this immediately if you even have a passing interest in horror, and if you're a horror fan who's been underwhelmed by the recent horror releases this year, then prepare to have your faith in the genre reinvigorated.
