flyboys film

I watched the trailer for Flyboys and didn’t realize until afterwards that it’s based on a true story. It sounds like a classic tale of forgotten heros and the lengths they went to preserve our freedom. I’m just surprised Hollywood didn’t pick up on this years ago and do a movie on it then since they’ve done so many other war movies.

Yea its based on the book of the same name, I've been meaning to read it for a while.

Yeah, me too. My grandfather gave me the book. I read a few pages and pretty much forgot about it. It's supposed to be a great book though.
