How many Dvd's do you have ?

It doesnt matter how many movies you own, so long as you like the movies that you do own and get personal pleasure ouf them each and every time you watch them.

Same here, nearly every dvd I have there is something I will watch over and over in it. There are a few I probably will get rid of though, but that's rare.

Somewhere in the 200-225 range (unless I completely loss track and its even more). My problem is that I don't have a job and I keep buying DVD's and I even buy some that I don't plan on watching even a second time. Its like movies have become my obsession and I want to watch and own as many as I can. Since I'm always watching new ones, I rarely have time to re-watch ones I bought except for maybe just a few times or unless its one of maybe 20 that I have watched countless times.

I think when it comes down to it, I'm a collector. I grew up collecting cards (I have probably tens of thousands of just basketball cards). Now I charish a DVD (especially special edition and rare ones) even if I don't plan on watching them. Also, its nice for when a friend asks "What is that?" At that point I'll usually say, "Oh, you have to see it" and then I'll watch it with them.

i have somwhere around 120, but they're all boxed up 🙁 i'm living with my friends at the moment and his fiance is sick so shes been home all day for two weeks and i never get to watch any of them...

around 850 or so. 822 I have catalogged........but 30 or so small independant dvds not listed in the database on that site. All box sets are counted as 1......so all 3 Indiana Jones dvds in the box set are counted as 1, all 4 Alien dvds in the box set are counted as 1, etc. If my box sets were to be seperated it would be around 900.

I keep all my dvds. I have far to many to keep in shelves anymore (without lining a wall of my living room). I have cd binders......208 disc capacity each, 5 of them. All my dvds are catalogged on a MSWP file......in order of binders 1-5.....in order they are inserted in the binder. If I want to watch a movie......I just type it's name into the "find" function......it will skip to the dvd name, showing me exactly where it's at, which binder it is in. That's hypothetical as I've never used it. I have a great memory. I know where each of my dvds are located (round abouts.....which binder....which general area, I'm not rain man).

I have a small shelf in my living room that I keep box sets on......

I've only had to sell one movie because it was a blindbuy and I hated it so much (Wrong Turn). I've sold about five wrestling DVDs because it just lost its appeal to me. Other than those, I've only sold a few when I upgraded to the newer edition.

yeah generally i dont sell my dvds, i might upgrade like wolfie if the new version has something worthy on it but if i know a box set or something like that will come out i wait (like with Kill Bill, havn't bought them, waiting for The Whole Bloody Affair to come out)

I upgrade also......but still don't get rid of my old ones for some reason......I'm very lazy.
