Why does everyone hate the idea of Harley Quinn? She isn't any more unrealistic than the Joker. I'd LOVE to see her in the sequel. Anyway, I like that Joker's origin is flexible. I don't care what they do with it, as long as it's GOOD.
Here is a cameo of Dr Harleen Quinzel from my script Batman Escalation.
The Joker is in Arkham Asylum (The Newly Built One) he is in handcuffs and two Arkham guards are transporting him to his cell. When he gets to his cell, a young 25 year old woman with clear blond hair and wearing thin glasses greets him.
Dr Harleen Quinzel: Hi I am Dr Harleen Quinzel. Your case is very intersting, is it Mr Joker.
Joker: You can call me anything Babe, but I would prefer it if you called me Mr J.
Dr Harleen Quinzel: Okay Mr J, I have heard that you have been through a lot.
Joker: Yes I have, it is very tragic and long story.
Dr Harleen Quinzel: Well we many days before your trail and I am your Physcitist so why don`t you start right away.
Joker: Well it all began with the Batman…
Suddenly one of the Arkham guards shuts the cell door and we hear the Joker`s speech getting quieter and quieter.
