Entrails of a Virgin

I've been wanting to blind buy this DVD for a few days now, ever since I saw it on the shelves at my store where I buy my DVD's. I've never seen it, but I've heard it's very gory, graphic, and sexually depraved. Anyone have any comments? Seen it? Heard of it?

Looks stupid. Alternate title could be Swamp Thing Unrated.

Never know though, if it's cheap might be worth a blind buy.

When i sit down to watch a movie with a name such a this and a reputation to be one of the most grotesque japanese cinema has to offer i await to be repulsed. That didn´t happen. The first half of the movie was filled with softcore leening towards rape-porn, often featured in japanese films such as this. The few gore scenes where placed in the dark so you couldn´t see what was happening. There is of course the infamous highlight with chopped of hands, naked girls and lots of monster semen, but this comes too late. You are already uninterested. So, if this sounds appealing, see the movie with low expectations.

Edit: 😆 I checked other films of the directors and came across "Entrails of a Beautiful Woman." Plot outline: A tortured and raped young girl mutates into a penis-headed demon and mutilates her captors.

I kinda figured as much. All the "grotesque" films are always unforgivingly overhyped. Hostel, anyone?

i dont like the whole "rape-porn" deal to begin with, so even if the movie didn't suck, i wouldn't be all that into it

This is just like a freaken cartoon porn but not in a cartoon.
