Look. I consider NIST to be official. Since you claim its not, I asked you what your defenition of "official" was.
You are exactly the type of conspiracy theorist that I dislike. The NIST, the official insvestigators say that "pancake collapse" was NOT supported. Yet, you insist that the NIST somehow magically changed their opinon. You make contradictory statements and provide no fact.
Now, I said if you can provide me evidence that 1. the NIST is not official or 2. they have changed their position since the 2005 report that I've quoted, I'll reconsider your position.
I've seen a couple of recurring themes in posts here, so I just want to clarify something.
Asking questions is fine. No one has a problem with someone asking questions. In fact, most intelligent people encourage it. That being said, ACCUSATIONS are not questions. They are the base of someone who has already made up his mind, through whatever means, and believes his theories to be fact. You are not 'asking questions' or being 'patriotic' by attacking the government. You are asking questions and being patriotic by questioning the government, doing real research, and coming to a conclusion. Let me say this again.
Accusations are not the same thing as asking questions.
Throughout most of this thread, all I've seen are accusations. Not questions. Not real exchange. One spectrum fighting the other. By the same token, blindly believing whatever the government tells you is also not being patriotic, as that is the exact opposite of what this country is about. But that does not mean you are not patriotic if you believe it. If you have done your research, asked your questions, and come to a firm answer, then you're perfectly fine.
But no one is doing any service to anyone by making blind accusations or ignoring evidence from the other side. Seriously. Grow up, people.

I never said the NIST mentioned the "Pancake collapse", your claiming that. I said they failed to mention the strucutural behavior of the "Pancake collapse", which they did since they didn't mention the structural behavior of anything.
The pancake theory is the accept dorm of collapse which has no explanation.

The NIST was the investigation for the WTC, I'm asking you about the oficial investigation of 911. Do you even know who was in charge of reporting on it, becuase it's obvious you don't nor do you know of thier report which is sad.

"Pancake" is used once in the 9-11 comission report and it was a general term, no specific mention of Eagar's theory. The 9-11 report was also issued beofre NIST's official investigation had been completed.
Science does not support the "pancake theory."
Edit: FEMA is the US's number one killer of black people. I consider their position, which likely and wrongly pre-empted the NIST investigation report, to not be an accurate representation of the modern collapse theory.
