No it was not his fault! Qui Gon was the jedi MASTER. Obi Wan was just an apprentice and held his own very well. Qui Gon made the mistake and just cause you don't like Obi doesn't mean u can blame him for everyone little thing. Do u never think it was Qui Gon's own fault that he got a lightsaber through him? or that Maul was just that good?Obi wasn't like 'Ok I won't kill Maul now'. Why wud he do that?u don't think of things in a fight, u just fight and so what if he missed a kicked or whatever, he made a slight mistake, haven't u ever?
