If the universe was a democracy...who would you vote for?

If the universe was a democracy...

Hypothetical question here...

If God’s universe was a democracy rather than a monarchy, and God was running for a re-election, would you be willing to vote for someone new to be God, assuming he or she has a better plan for the universe? Who do you think would be a good candidate to run against God, and what would their plan be like? Or do you think God’s doing a good job? Would you vote for his re-election?

Mormons believe we were given a choice prior to coming here. We chose the way life is, and the method for God's intervention with us here. Those that didn't like it were allowed to leave and do what they would, but since it wasn't God's way, he didn't aid them in their plans. Hence they didn't do very well for themselves, and decided to try to get us to screw up while we were here.

I'd over throw god and make myself dictator.

ANd why does this universe start with a god anyway, let alone one and one that sounds Chirstian?

And why do we have to keep the god.

THIS POLL IS BIASED!!!!! 😠 😆

Can I run for God?

I voted Communist God lol, but seriously, I'd vote a new one, that would empower Humans, and make us Demi-Gods, and let us have our own fun at creation of Universes and such

Maybe that is what happened. 😉

Hmmm. Election day with real politicians. A person comes up to me and gives me a flier. There is no picture of the candidate on it - because he has never been seen. There is no policies on it other then "vote me and something good will happen down the track. Maybe. For some of you. Not in this life though." No actual record of past achievements, but some claims that can neither be proven or disproven.

Now this politicians was elected some years before. He has never been seen. Never done anything tangible or physical for the community that voted him in. Doesn't even turn up to cut ribbons. Would I vote for him? Hell no. A democratically elected representative has to have purpose, has to justify his reasons for election. Has to do something. Voting for a God would be no different. Unless God starts doing something to justify his upkeep I'll vote against him faster then you can say "election loss for God."

Who would I vote for? The grand polytheistic religions of old. They are colorful, they are symbolic of the natural world in many ways, and they got down and did things with the people. Not always good - but I want action, good or bad, rather then just an empty office and the hope maybe one day something will happen. Bring back the great Norse Gods! Give me Sol Invictus and Mithra and the Greek Pantheon, and I'll be happy! At least one can assume if they are about we will know they are their. They will interfere and we will be able to write myths and we might produce another Iliad. And besides, the concept of democracy was born with the polytheistic religions. The Monotheistics are dictatorial.
