The very first blow in the WW vs Storm fight was WW kicking Storm in the head. Keeping in mind that WW's strength is nearly on par with Superman's, and Storm's physical strength and durability is on par with an ordinary human being's, imagine if Superman had kicked you or I in the head (ie, kicked and meant business).

The fight should've ended right there, with Storm's head doing one of two things...
1. Making a line-drive field goal to the moon, or
2. Exploding on the spot like a Gallagher melon.

Better it would have been to have Storm strike first with lightning, though even then, on the cover of that issue, we see WW blocking the lightning with her bracelets.
